fast and unique design
good but expansive as other 2 tb hard disk have average price of 6500 7000, this disk cost me more than 8000, and by this price i want 2 cable in it one type c to typec and type c to usb.(which is not provided by the company) that was disappointing

Rugged look; VFM. But, few nagging issues
Experience over first 48 hours- sleek; looks rugged, with a hard shell.- works like a charm with Windows.- works erratically with Mac, with the accompanying data cable,; Mac keeps disconnecting. Had to use a different usb-c cable.- Mac does not recognize the Seagate drive when connected via a usb-c hub; need to connect it directly. I do not have this problem with other external drives!Will post further updates after few more days of using it.

Finally a USB C HDD.
- Only bought this because of USB C.- No more adapters , plug it straight into my iPad and iPhone.- Write speeds are on an average 100 MB/s .- 256-AES Password protection , won’t work on Mobile devices.- Use the Toolkit Software from Seagate to set it up.

elegant design
Back up my entire data within a day without any issue.I had a few Seagate portable HD before, this one is the most elegant one. Also, it comes with UBS-c cable.Bonus

Small Stay at Home drive
While I have a desktop, I have and use 2 laptops, on for work and the other for personal use. I use this drive for Time Machine backups and archiving my downloads folders. I always set up my external drives for us on a Mac. That process is quick! Now, this drive isn't speedy if you are transferring terabytes of data to it? But when doing off loading and Time Machine backups, this drive does the job! If I fill this drive up before the end of the year? I will purchase another, organize the files by month and year. Portability is great, as long as you purchase a hard case for this product! I have MVME SSD drives I use for traveling with.

Plug and play. Great back up drive. Recently retired and had tons of files to back up from my 25yrs - this drive worked great.

Funciona perfecto con Mac OS, fiable y viene con cable
Son 5 TB, viene formateado en ExFAT pero se puede cambiar a APFS o lo que necesites. No da problemas, no se desconecta "de repente", todo normal. El cable es USB-C. Un poco feo para el diseño de lo que es el disco, porque es blanco y de plástico un poco cutre mientras que el diseño de la unidad en sí es precioso en material y colores. De velocidad va bien, y en general perfecto aunque está un poco por encima (~20%) del precio de otros discos similares. Seguramente si necesito más, repita compra.
