Have a 97 wrangler and wanted to keep backseat cool.I had tried a fiberglass backed "jacket" type insulation w/ a metal skin that wrapped around my exhaust, but it still got super hot, and had to deal with the smell from the glass getting super hot. I replaced with this using four heat shield standoffs and its working great. No heat at all coming up from the floor. Going to add an adhesive insulation pad above it to bottom of the jeep just for good measure

Needed some dimpled exhaust shield to replace a rusted out piece above the catalytic converter. This comes in a box, folded in half with two stainless steel zip ties. The material is easy to flex and mold to your opening or to wrap around an exhaust pipe to help manage the heat. While I didn't use the zip ties, some stainless steel self tapping screws did the job just fine without tearing up the product to get a good fit.

Material was easy to shape and trim with heavy duty scissors, no professional shears needed, just elbow grease.

I bought some of these to make new heat shields for my Land Rover. Worked great!

I’m restoring a 40 year old Subaru and needed to form a new heat shield between the muffler and gas tank. To add a layer of protection, I used this aluminum sheet to line the shield and it was perfect. Very easy to cut and shape, yet is has nice rigidity with its embossed pattern. More than happy with this!

My infra red temp gave me a diff of 20 degree inside/out meaning it's working !
