Using these guys to shape and modify aluminum up to 1/8" thickness. They are monsters for removing material. Can go straight to wood after with no issues. I'd highly recommend.

I bought this set because it was the cheapest kit on Amazon. I was porting the exhaust manifold on one of my cars, so I really only needed 1 of the burrs.The burr hogged material beautifully and even after a few hard "kicks", hitting a dip or hard spot, there was no damage to the burr whatsoever.When shopping for rotary tools, make sure you actually need these burrs instead of sanding drums. These burrs will easily remove far more material than you expect, so these should be saved for the heavy duty jobs and sanding drums should be used for light material removal or smoothing, followed by soft multi-grit bits for polishing.For 10 bucks I'd buy these again and again, though I dont think I'll ever wear through this first set!
