Other reviewers have listed many positives about this Acer, so I won't repeat all that. But ... I do want to say that after using this Chromebook every day for over a month since it arrived, I can honestly say that it is performing beautifully and I'm very glad I purchased. The backlit keyboard is wonderful! It REALLY does back-light every key - you can see what every key's symbol/letter is if you're in a darkened room . This is such a contrast to the lousy Asus Chromebook I'd purchased (here on Amazon) that had the WORST backlit keyboard I've ever experienced - it was a worthless non-fuctional joke, but I just put up with it for years. I bought this Acer to replace that Asus Chromebook that began dying from some problem within the hinges, causing the screen portion to often have a complete black-out of screen display, and the touchscreen feature was becoming more and more erratic in stopping to function whenever it felt like it. Anyway ... this Acer is one nice laptop. And the complaints about the weight really don't make sense to me ... this seems to be built for durablility ... and isn't out of the realm of most weights of other brands laptops. I do hope it continues to perform without developing problems for years to come.

Es mi segunda Chromebook, es muy potente, no es tan liviana y la pantalla es amplia. Parece una tableta grande, pues el sistema operativo tiende a ese modo más que a escritorio! Se puede utilizar el office 365 en línea con todas las funcionalidades! Su encendido es en cuestión de segundos!

Product is good!Missing items in the delivered package, namely the MaxsolCable Bundle, or I would have given 4star or better ratings. Amazon only accepts Return, I only wish to get the advertised MaxsolCable Bundle... Return is too troublesome and I needed to use the computer immediately as my other computer is damaged.

This is my first Chromebook. I'm inclined to think this one is geared more towards gamers from my preliminary research. I didn't need a gaming computer but the price point was good so I decided to give it a try. I am a Google devotee after all…I give this device a solid 5 star rating.Bloggers!! Writers!! I'm telling you- the Acer Spin 514/Google AMD Raven Ridge is an excellent device for writing! A blogger's dream has come true!It's light, fast & has everything I need to maintain my blogs & edit photos. This is also a perfect device for students, I wish these had been around when my child was young for the ease of use. She's all grown up now & an Apple devotee!I purchased an external drive to go with this Chromebook. If this device continues to meet my needs, I'm already beginning to wonder if I'll find the need for a Windows laptop.

Well built and good screen. Performance is great. Only downsides are touchpad doesn’t work well and keyboard is very sensitive. I use a Bluetooth mouse which works fine. Overall it looks great and I am pleased with the purchase
