Creative Walls: How to display and enjoy your treasured collections

This beautiful book was exactly what I was looking for. If, like me, you have acquired tons of treasures, little drawings, postcards, sketches and pictures then this book is fantastic for giving inspiration in terms of how to display them creatively. The rooms photographed in the book are really well put together and show real life living spaces that are functional and that can show off your collections. The only disappointing thing is that the rooms are incredibly (and slightly unrealistically) tidy and free from general "life clutter" so in real life I couldn't quite achieve something as photogenic as the book portrays... But still, full of ideas and NOT just for displaying itmes in frames - clever ways to make the most of wall imperfections (rather than hide them), adding really simple designs to bring a room to life, the list goes on. A must have for anyone after the flea-market Brighton style in their room / home.

I really like this book.The quality of the paper, cover and binding is really nice. It is laid out well and the photos are great.It has some lovely original ideas on displaying collections or just adding interest to walls.

So interesting with wonderful ideas no wall need be empty

This book is nothing but pure inspiration!Any spare moment i have i take this book and a cup of tea and let my imagination run riot!I will be moving home soon and this will be my Number 1 source of reference!Wonderful book!

This book looks beautiful on a shelf or bookcase. Has some really nice ideas on how to display your pictures, wall art and other household accessories. Well worth a buy.

This is a beautiful book with loads of gorgeous photographs of highly individual rooms - some of which are actually shop interiors, rather than homes. Though it is lovely, and I will enjoy it, it's not really what I expected. I think the description makes it sound much more practical than it is. Most of the ideas shown are very very edgy and unlikely to fit into a domestic situation unless you really are uber-cool and live in a loft in Berlin or something (in which case, you probably won't need the book). So, I will keep it for pure enjoyment and for - perhaps - some degree of inspiration, but if you're looking for a more practical guide, this is perhaps not the one.
