The ratings do not mean anything but what the gloves are for is you can if you want to put the magnets in the gloves so once you remove the magnet its easy cleanup you can also scrape it along messy area that have dust to make a easy cleanup I hope this helps!!!

Our son has been having a blast with this.

I was very excited to get this for my 10-year-old grandson for his birthday. He doesn’t play with toys he’s very hard to buy for. At his birthday party yesterday I showed him what I had learned in looking at the item and his dad actually played with it a little bit and thought it was cool. Here’s the rub it’s flammable! Iron or in dust Is flammable! It’s also dangerous to inhale! Today I’m going to remove it from the house. I’m going to try to keep the box and the tools and just put kinetic sand in there. This should not be sold and certainly not two kids. Danger

I really liked this, but the iron shavings made my son’s hands visibly black and next thing I knew, he was eating fruit with his hands. I asked him to tell me when he was done playing so we could wash his hands, but what can you expect from a 3 year old’s logic.

A Delightful Box Of Magnetic Fun Sand. I always wanted to play with iron filing. It comes with the box, little shovel set, hematite, 1.5 pounds of iron filings, and gloves. It suggests that you wash your hands after playing with it; and I can not imagine that it would be fun, if it ended up in the carpet. If you keep these things in mind, it will be a fun thing. It is not sand for all ages. I would not suggest it for anyone who put things in their mouth.I am not keeping this with the other toys, games and sensory delights.It is a fun, STEM toy.
