Q: My job needs to stand for a long time. would you reommend?

Yes they are lovely and comfortable

Q: Are they suitable for hiking on easy terrain.

These are more for lightweight training. I wouldn't put these up against hiking shoes like Merrell for example.

Q: How is the sizing on these please?

Size is about right . I wanted to allow thick socks so ordered a size bigger , they are quit comfy for when you don’t want a full length boot.
