I have numerous sets of these polyclay heishi beads. Most are bigger than this one but size isn't the real reason I decided to get this particular set. I liked this set for the numerous choices of multicolor beads it includes. My other sets only contain solid colors in the heishi beads.This set does also include solid colors, as well as all the same types of accessories the larger kits include such as tools, elastic cording, charms, and jewelry findings. The findings and charms are only in goldtone in this kit, but that really didn't concern me because I already have plenty of silver toned accessories to use. At this low price you really get the proverbial bang for your buck.I would recommend this set to anyone who may want to try this craft without spending much money. You may not get as many color choices in the beads but you do get two styles of bead coloration and that is something most sets don't include. If you are satisfied with exclusively golden jewelry accessories then this is a great kit to get started with.

My middle child is an aspiring jewelry maker and asked me to find a kit with which to practice and learn the craft. We are both very pleased with this item. With 7000+ items inside, my child is really enjoying the variety of beads both in color and size. It also came with several easy-to-use tools and my 12-year-old has had no issues using the tools. It is very much a beginner's item and I anticipate he will be ready for more complicated jewelry making tools as he becomes more and more comfortable creating with this kit. Also, I want to note that the beads and tools come in a compact, plastic organizer that is very convenient and well-appointed.

It's actually crazy how good of a value this is. You get so many beads and so many materials. This is a great gift for anyone who is into crafts, making bracelets, etc. Also, to be honest, the little tools it come with are top tier. I'd honestly pay this price just for the tools and accessories - the black/metal tweezers make all sorts of bead-making super easy and the clasps, earring hoops, etc. are such a nice addition.

I wish that this set had all solid colors, otherwise I’ve been really enjoying making bracelets with them!
