I needed an airtight container to hold 5 pounds of flour. I wanted truly airtight as I live by the humid ocean. This container is absolutely perfect! Truly airtight, well-constructed, and space saving. This is my first purchase from this line, but it certainly is only the first of many! (It fits exactly 5 pounds of flour.)

I’ve tried cheaper storage containers and they didn’t work. These are by far the best, and since they actually work, are a good value for the money. The crystal clear looks really nice, the lids are so easy to close, and create an airtight seal. I like the shape, it makes organization easy and doesn’t take up a lot of space. Large size is good for flour, sugar, grains, etc., smaller size is good for meal prep, or leftovers. Can’t go wrong with these.

These series of products from Rubbermaid are awesome. They’re super quality and are constructed from nice and thick plastic. They feel super sturdy. This particular container fits a large amount of instant rice that I frequently use. The lid has a rubber seal on the edges and the clamps feature a small hole underneath, also with a rubber seal, to ensure a nice airtight seal. Great for for freshness and an overall awesome design. Definitely worth the price.

We've slowly started swapping all our tupperwares and containers to rubbermaid brilliance. I've found them to be a good value in terms of leak proofness, durability, and stain resistance. After my wife dropped and cracked our last cereal container made by Oxo, I decided to try out rubbermaid's version.I like the dimensions of the rubbermaid better, it's shorter and wider, so it's less of a tip risk. It's stored our cereal for about a week now, and hasn't gone stale. Hopefully the shatter resistant claims will hold up.Where I have some issues is the flip lid. It's got little plastic pegs that insert into holes on the main lid, which seems to work ok. To get it to stay open, you have to push it past a point of resistance, after which there's a "crack" sound. Same thing when closing. I definitely feel like it'll be a point of failure, but hopefully it'll break in with more use. The opening is pretty small, I much preferred Oxo's version with a lever action opening that was almost the entire lid. It also feels like a soft plastic, so not sure how well it seals, would have preferred a rubber or silicone, similar to the gasket on the main lid.The pricing of the rubbermaid was attractive so I'm going to hold onto it and see if my fears regarding the lid are realized. If not, then this was a great buy!

I have bought these several times. I love that they hold alot and the lid works easily. Seals well. I keep pasta, beans, sugar, flour and other food items.
