Really works!
Almost didn't buy because of a negative review. Don't know what that reviewer expected but I think it works perfectly. I use it for weeding and some ground tilling. Don't know how long the tines will stay sharp as I've just started using it but it sure is solid and well built, so I'm hoping years. It works just as advertised. Would definitely recommend!

Greater tiller and weed puller
This is a perfect hand tiller and weed puller! I’m old and I can use this with ease! In all my flower beds and garden. I only wish it came with a handle.

Great rake
Love this rake. Very sharp edges cut through roots for cutting my garden ready for spring planting. No rototilling. Just the rake

Dangerous.
This thing is downright dangerous. Yes it’s sharp but that not my issue. If you don’t use this in really soft soil it won’t do a thing but shoot dirt in your face. I hit a small root and the tine shot a bunch of dirt in my face to the point that it hurt. Luckily I was wearing glasses but I still got dirt in one eye and had to walk back to the house with one eye shut to flush it. This product is not safe to use and should be banned. Use a hulahoe.

Good for garden beds
I bought this rake to weed my garden beds without having to kneel or bend over. I bought a long handle from Amazon to attach to the rake, but it didn't fit the short handle on the rake, so I went to Home Depot and found a handle that did fit. Odd that Amazon would recommend purchasing a long handle that was too small for the rake handle. Will be returning that handle. Once fitted with the correct size long handle, this rake now enables me to easily rake and weed my garden beds while standing, for which my sore knee is very grateful. The rake itself is sturdy and is very effective at catching and pulling up weeds with shallow roots. It must be used at a 45` angle in order to dig and catch the root. The v-shaped connection between prongs helps to catch and hold the weed, and the long handle I added enables me to reach the rear sections of my beds. I intend to use it in my strawberry bed to rake weeds between the plants, and in beds where I have placed grow bags. The rake can also be used to lightly cultivate the soil of a garden bed. This rake can't be used in a bed that has weed fabric installed, as the prongs are large and sharp, and will catch and pull the fabric up. This is a welcome new product in my garden, as it is far more effective for weeding than a regular rake with separate tines.

Great for a tilled garden, not so great for weeding a yard
This rake only works well with already loose dirt. The dirt must be loose or tilled up for this to work. The rake teeth are flexible and will fling dirt and rocks right into your face and eyes if you're trying to scrape up weeds in dry or hard dirt. I've used it about 5 times so far and every time I end up with rocks and clumps of dirt pelting my face at high velocity. The teeth are also deadly sharp so wear knee high boots. I can see it would be extremely easy to impale your shin with this thing.

It's not what I expected
I've had this for 2 months and I decided to use it today. On the second turn, one tooth snapped off and the other is bent. I am not sure if was dull, but it lost the battle with the weeds. It was easy to use, sharpness was not where I thought it should be, and the size was kinda bulky. A lot of hard work went into it and I admire that; however, I just wish it would have been more durable.

Wow...a kudzu killer...hook them up and pull them up.
Wow...a kudzu killer...hook them up and pull them up. It's not a "hoe" it's a vine rake for my use. I weld various items myself to combat invasive vines (surrounded by forest). Short of buying a couple of goats, this tool is wonderful for "hooking and pulling" vines. I was designing a tool for this spring and realized I should search online for an affordable existing tool before I wasted money buying expensive metals and fabricating in my shop. I found this on Amazon and relied on the pictures in deciding this was better than my own concepts. The item I received was exactly as pictured and adequately sturdy. I fashioned a handle out of a straight section of a sapling I cut for this purpose...whittled it into a tapered end until it fit and secured with a wood screw. I am so impressed. I am afraid of chemical herbicides to kill these vines and risk poisoning myself and the trees and other plants I need to preserve so I have for years used manual methods of weed control. This tool is working for me. I can bush hog and mow along a fence and then use this tool to clear at the fence border and even clear the fence itself. Weed whackers are not effective for woody vines.
