I haven’t used the plastic bags in the supermarket for about 8 years ... I literally just chuck loose fruit and veg in the basket and after it’s weighed it goes straight in the shopping bag...I bought these for an entirely different purpose... HOWEVER I had a couple left over so have used them to store veg in the fridge and veg rack... im not exaggerating when I say it’s stayed good for at least twice as long... the most telling BG is the broccoli... in the past I have had to buy plastic wrapped broccoli when that’s all they have and whether you leave it in the wrapping or take it out it tends to go yellow and limp in a few days... In this bag it’s kept good for over a week and no sign of yellowing or limpness. Much better than disposable plastic bags or wrapping in every way!

No more plastic bags for me. Lightweight and see through so no problems at the check out. Roomy so can use them for larger veg/fruit purchases such as potatoes. Would be excellent to store my fruit and veg in so will have to buy another set. I am keeping one in my handbag for unexpected purchases. Folds up so can stick them in a pocket. I know I will use these over and over. Good to know I can put them in the washing machine as well. Would highly recommend.

I purchased a set of these bags to use for grocery shopping but I have since found many other uses for them - pack small clothing items when traveling or any other small things to put in my backpack so they don't run loose. I also do use them for shopping - always keep a few in my purse, they do not take up space. It feels extremely satisfying to forego the plastic bags in the supermarket.

I’m trying to reduce the plastic we use this year and these have been really helpful. I also use them for storing produce in the fridge. The drawstring does not lock but this hasn’t been a problem.

The bags are incredibly lightweight, I know that any weight can increase the price when weighing but they're light enough that even for expensive produce i'm comfortable leaving them in (and i'm pretty broke) they're quite big, about 7 apples/oranges worth if you need an idea of realistic size but yeah they're super see through but really fine mesh so I love, nothing to moan about

I bought these to use in the supermarket for loose fruit and veg rather than using the thin plastic bags. They add barely any addition weight, can be used 100s of times and not just for fruit and veg! I get asked about them almost every time I shop. Brilliant idea, I just wish I’d bought them sooner!

I bought these to cut down on the supermarket single use bags for when buying fruit and veg.My frustration came when an Asda colleague refused to put through some veg at the till unless it was in a bag... and it didn’t need a bag!They are great, good big size with a toggle. To test I went to a farm shop and bought my veg and fruit.... not a single use plastic bag in sight. Let’s save our planet!!
