Very useful tool
I use it a lot, and it is so handy because of the small size.

Great little anvil!!!
I purchased the 2.2 lb version and I'm very pleased with this little anvil. The only thing I would point out is that if you intend to use the horn to shape things, you may need to grind down the cast line that runs down the middle of the horn. This was very easy to do and took less than 5 (careful) minutes with a file. Of course, that will remove the paint but a small price to pay to gain use of this feature. Even with that said, I highly recommend this anvil. For the price, it's a great value. I would certainly buy this again.

Hammer Time: When Nostalgia Meets Heavy Metal
This gorgeous, hefty slab of blue arrived in one piece, and I've already put it to work smoothing out some dents in various metal odds and ends. Let's be real, though, I mostly bought it for the sheer romantic and nostalgic vibe.Plus, it's blue. Who doesn't love a blue anvil? This review represents my personal opinion and experience with this product. Bench top Anvil
This is exactly what i was looking. Mounts on the bench top and is perfect for knife building and other small projects that don’t require the use of a full size anvil. I mainly use this for tapping in pins to knife handles…….If you are looking for a small bench top anvil, i recommend checking this one out.

Poor craftmanship
The pad on top of the anvil is not flat and rough finished. The horn is not finished for use and is too big for the anvil. Very poor machine work results in erradic and sharp edges. Spent way too much of my time and energy cleaning it up, thinning and shaping the horn, flat filing the pad, cleaning and straightening edges, and polishing the striking surfaces.
