Absolutely cuckoo for this clock...
Like the sandpiper mixed with waves hourly sound. Could have been bigger.

Doesn't last.
This is our 4th clock like this. We haven't had it 6 months and it's on the way out. The bird is making a grinding popping sound. The same thing that the 3 prior clocks did. If we're lucky when the bird stops working the time will continue to work. If all you want is a beachy clock go ahead a buy it. If you want the clock to work as advertised dont buy it.

Cookoo broken
My EXPENSIVE clock is making a strange loud clicking sound when the bird goes back in the house. It's not batteries. It is too new and too expensive to be happening. Would like a replacement. THANK YOU

Cute but not worth the price
Great for coastal decor, but the shell chime broke off before the clock was even hung. The spot for the battery to keep time on the clock was too big. Even after bending out the metal piece, the battery still fell out. Needed to add aluminum foil so that the battery would make contact for the clock to keep time. The cuckoo goes off every hour and does not have the option to silence at bedtime
