This kit is a good basic start to screen printing. Contains all the basic items needed but no screen emulsion. This allows you to pick the emulsion you want to use.

I purchased this kit not knowing anything about silk screening so imagine my disappointment when I realized this kit contusion only about half of the items to actually silk screen. I suggest spending the extra cash on a complete kit now rather than have to try and figure than having to try and guess later. feel like the ad was misleading.

I have done screen printing in the past but more in a 'make do' kind of way. This kit bumps everything up a notch!1) It has 3 complete screens in different sizes! This is awesome. So nice that you can prepare all of your materials and have a 'screen printing extravaganza! ' 2) It comes with the UV LED Light - and yes, it includes the PVC piping to assemble a stand for the light 3) The squeegee is big and solid with a wood handle 4) it comes with transparency films (I've never had these before - only created stencils from hand drawings before - so again - bumped up a notch and 5) It includes step-by-step instructions including which pieces of the set you'll use within each step.It does not include the Photo Emulsion and it does not include the Screen Printing Ink. If you don't already have those items - you will need them in order to use this kit.

While the parts inside the kit are great and will work out nicely. The pictures used to advertise this product clearly show the transparencies needed to make the mask. Those are not included. This just the screens, tools, and the UV lamp and stand. All nice stuff, but that main picture needs updated to look truthful regardless of what the description says. Uncool moves like that, make me choose different sellers in the future. So, you got my money this time, but you won't next time.

First off, the directions are wonderful!! It really takes you through it step by step. It's almost a full kit. Great for beginners. I got it for my nephew who is 16 and he was able to follow the directions just fine. It has 3 different size frames, which is nice. It even has a stand you can put together for the light. If you're just starting out, I highly recommend this kit. You'll just need to get your own ink and photo emulsion stuff. I'm telling you, though, this is so worth the price. I was very impressed by this kit.

I've never done screen printing before, so this was my first attempt. I wouldn't say it has everything you need, but it has the majority. It was fairly easy to figure out as well.

Emulsion, ink and a surface to lay your medium, shirt/stickers/bags/etc... on. Oh! And emulsion cleaner.Now that that is out of the way... the screen sizes are ok (they don't feel sturdy, the screen nor the frames)THEY COUNT THE 10 TONGUE DEPRESSORS AS 10 OF THE 29 pieces included in the kit. That feels like "technically" true false advertisement.I believe each, individual, glove is a part of the count as well.Now that I think about it... this is not a very good starter kit.
