Hold posts securely
These are new, so I can't speak to durability, but I bought some others that were garbage. I paid my handyman to put five in for a handrail. They were so wobbly, I had these delivered overnight. These seem very secure, and my handyman said they were easy to install. He's building wooden bases to cover up the screws and make shoveling easier. Now I have three extras, because they come in packs of eight. Only disadvantage I can see.

The included bolts may not be as sufficient strength
The included bolts may not be as sufficient strength so we have replaced those with galvanized ones from local hardware stores.

Its tall
Very nice part. but it is about 5 inches tall , and if you want to have a board go across at 4 inches there is an overlap you will need to deal with.

Extremely weak, not welded. Don’t let the six mounting holes fool you.
It comes with extremely beefy, mounting hardware for concrete. However, it’s unable to withstand the slightest push from a simple breeze. It’s not welded all the way around it just has for tech points extremely weak and absolute rubbish. If you buy this plan on undoing everything you just put together only to have to replace it with better equipment.

Good support but anchors were not 1/2", had to buy them.
The anchors that I received were 3/8 inch in diameter, not 1/2". I pre-drilled the holes based on my partner having the same ones. His came with 1/2 in anchors. I needed to complete the project, so I had to buy 1/2 in diameter anchors.Extra expenses!!!Edit: The post bases do a good job of holding the 4x4 post snug. I used them to install a heavy gate. The posts rest in the post bases and I added an L brace at two points on the post.I used the 1/2 in. anchors I bought instead of the 3/8 in. they supplied. The 1/2 in. anchors filled the holes in the base very tightly. If you are using a handheld hammer/drill, you should use the 3/8 in. anchors. I had a hammer/drill guide so that when I started the hole the bit would not jump around. By hand, any slight deviation and the bases have no give in case you drilled the 1/2 in. holes a bit off. The product and customer service were perfect for my intended use, 4 starts instead of 5 because the anchors were not as advertised.
