Féria Hair Colour from L'Oréal Paris (74 Mango-Intense Copper)

I used this on top of hair that was bleached to a medium blonde colour. It came out bright orange and not quite the (slightly) more natural shade of copper on the box. I actually liked it anyway and had a million compliments on the colour, but unfortunately within maybe two weeks it had faded a lot and now, about a month later, it's a pastel orange or strawberry blonde I suppose you could say (see the photo attached). Seeing as it's supposed to be a permanent dye I'm disappointed it didn't last longer - I might as well have used Manic Panic.

As you can see, the color is nice, but I only color the long hair on top of my head. That's about 33% of my entire head. I didn't have enough to color it all the way to my end so if you have a full head of hair that is longer than 4" you'll probably need two boxes.

Loreal Feria 74 Mango Intense Copper has nothing to do with realistic hair color. My natural hair color is red like a carrot but my roots are getting silver. I wanted to get something very close to my own hair color and chose Loreal Feria 74. I left the color on my hair for 20 minutes and after washing the color out my hair was purple-ish, with pinkish highlights, yuck. The achieved color has nothing to do with the beautiful penny-copper color that is showing on the box. Most likely the purple will wash out/fade out. I can NOT suggest Loreal Feria 74 hair colour unless you like purple hair.

I have copper hair and could never find the same color in the stores. FINALLY I find it, but only online. But this color is perfect!!! I leave it on longer because of stubborn greys and it comes out EXACTLY the same color as the models!!!! Does not fade, just stays beautiful copper!!!! I also LOVE the high shine conditioner it comes with. If you want copper get this product!!!!

I have tried all shades of red, mahogany, copper... this is the one I'll stick with. It's the vibrant henna color i was looking for. i have medium/light chestnut hair and i get the exact shade i want. A friend had her hair highlighted and the tone she got was more mango than copper. It was beautiful.It's a shame that I cant find this in my local stores.

Someone with red hair has a hard time finding the right hair color and hair products. Everything is for blonds and brunettes but Feria Hair Color in 74 Mango-Intense Copper is my perfect shade!

I've been colouring my hair with this product for about a year and it's never failed me. I have rather long hair and can't get away with one bottle sadly but I'd say most people would do as it spreads really well. It covers other colours well but you'd need to bleach first for really dark hair, my mousy-brown hair isn't a problem at all. It doesn't fade too quickly and it's easy to apply although you do have to wet your hair first which can make it more difficult to see where you've been or separate the hair (hence 4 stars). It doesn't turn your hair to straw, rather you come away with lovely soft well-coloured hair. It does have a strong smell during application so I would definitely recommend ventilating the space your in well - I don't find it any worse than other colouring products though. I don't find colour leaches much when the hair is damp - so long as you rinse well the first time - even immediately after you've finished dying and certainly after a couple of washes it doesn't leach at all.Warning - please don't underestimate how bright the colour is, especially before you've washed your hair a few times. It really is the colour on the box which seems to surprise people for some reason - maybe it doesn't seem bright on a tiny box but try to picture that colour all around your head. It isn't a colour to suit everyone. However, unlike the Prodigy version (avoid avoid avoid!) it isn't a psychedelic orange and even at it's brightest it's not ridiculous - it does fade a tad to a lovely natural ginger. Honestly, I am complemented regularly on the colour and people are always surprised when I say it's not natural.

Makes you look like Syndrome from The Incredibles, also has quite a pungent odor

This was the perfect colour for me; bright orange. It's a bit drippy and gives you a heart attack when it comes out a dark purple before you rinse it but I can't argue with the end results.Be warned though: if what you want is human looking ginger hair then don't use this on bleached hair it comes out bright, bright orange, which luckily was exactly what I wanted.

To dark for me. I have strawberry blonde hair. Nice feel and easy yo use

Love this intense yet natural looking colour. It is the most natural "red head" colour out there that is also vibrant and full of shine. This came with a leaflet that I think was in Polish so if it had been my first time colouring I might have been confused as there was no English translation - just to let people know. The colour is perfect though!I have ordered it again as I loved it so much!
