Excellent product
The tape was wonderful and application was easy and It seems to secure so good on the ends of the camper..the caulking was more gummy in consistency and was messy to spread out...hopefully does the job and seals tightly

Seals very well
When I bought a new Braxtten Creek it was leaking on the top rail. I took it in for warranty, but all they did was silicon the rail on the outside. It stiil leaked! I decided to do it myself! The Dicor kit is a great sealing kit. The urethane tubes are a product that is firm but will work in and it cures pretty fast. I used it between the roof shell and the framing. I then reattached the shell to the framing. (the framing is 4 ply plywood!!!) I used shingle nails the OEM staples were cracking the gellcoat and pulling through. After thar setup about 30 minutes. I layed down the sealing tape The clear liner that needs to be removed to allow the caulking to adhere to the gelcoat can be difficult to peel off. (working with a razor knife helped lift the edges then it comes off great). The sealing tape is VERY sticky try to get it down in place the FIRST tme. Then clean the railing and apply the urethane down both edges and cornor. FYI this urethane sets fast so a helper is a good idea they can hold the rail in place as your reattach the screws. I used tape to mark the egde of the trim rail before I removed it. The sealing tape will move the finished edge about an 1/16th in from the original edge. Let it set up about 30 to 40 minutes. I used a plastic paddle spoon or plastic razor to trim off the urethane that wil ooze out from the egde rail. The tape help keep the extra urethane from coming in contact with the gelcoat. They said to use denatured alcohol, but I used a cleanup laquar it seemed to work faster and some of the urethane that was set lifts easier. The sealing tape conforms to even the slightest irregularity on the shell (aluminum or fiberglass) the cloth backing makes a great adhesion for urethane caulking. It's sad that the OEM does not use this product. The sealing tape alone is superior to the junk caulking used by the manufacture. Not to mention the poor quality construction.

It's worth the price to protect your camper.
Rebuilt a water damaged 5th wheel and used this to seal the corners. Former owners used standard caulk, which does not work very long on a camper, and is a pain to get off for repairs after it has baked in the sun for a couple of years. This stuff worked great and there is no way any water is going to get in now.

I would recommend it to everyone
Don't play around with gray putty. This is the best stuff to use I didn't even get done was not able to get my metal moldings on just the protective tape only and winter came and my rv was fine in spring for me to work on again

Dicor Cap Sealant less than desirable
I purchased this for end cap reseals on our aluminum sided camper. It is the clear Dicor Non-sag Cap Sealant with the butyl tape, CS112KIT. We removed all of the putty and old silicone and cleaned it as the instructions stated. The paper instructions in the box said to clean the new sealant up with water, so we had the provided spray bottle ready. That was a mistake. Water only caused the sealer to set up faster on the places that we were trying to remove it, leaving one side of the camper looking like crap. On the second side, I tried to be cautious with the sealer, and only added where the aluminum rolled away from the end cap. This also was a mistake. Shortly after filling those gaps, the sealer began to run (so much for no drip). The runs can be seen in the photographs. The sealant was still tacky after 4 days, so I've not tried to trim it up yet in fear that it would smear and make an embarrassing mess like the opposite side. I thought maybe it wasn't approved for aluminum siding, however the example photograph with the listing shows it being used on aluminum siding in the manner (vertical end cap) that I used it on. We used 1 1/2 tubes of the sealant, and both tubes performed the same - like junk. The only good thing from this package was the tape. I won't purchase this Dicor Cap Sealant again. It was a huge disappointment, mess, and expense.

Excellent product - no problem recommending !
This product is excellent - it allows for a strong, water repellent repair to be made. Comes with clear, detailed instructions on how to prepare the area to be repaired and how to apply the corner seal. I have no hesitation in recommending this product for leaking corner joints on RV’s.

Too slow
Takes way too long for this to arrive. It was already a 10 day shipment which is now delayed at least another week. Not able to review as I’ve never seen the product. Seems dicor is very slow to send product
