Loved it but read them in order
This is the second book in a series and I would recommend that you read them in order otherwise if you read this book first it would spoil the first book. This is a good continuation of the first book and it gives you answers that you didn’t get from the first book. I really would recommend this series as it follows the stories of friends past and present. I don’t know if there will be more in the series but ilthere are I look forward to reading them.

Great story.
Owen & Delilah's story had me hooked from the start I couldn't put it down. It was sweet, steamy but also emotional at times. I loved the characters well other than Maribelle Drayton who was determined to see Delilah arrested for the death of her son Thaddeus & employed Owen to find evidence to help the case he took the job because the business need the money but also to prove that Delilah was not to blame. However, everything seemed to be going perfect between them until Maribelle's plan to ruin Delilah's life hit her with full force. There was a lot of secrets, lies & heartache before anybody saw happiness. I've loved reading this series with all it wonderful characters how they're all connected & I can't wait to read Rosemary & Noah's story.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Enjoyable read!
I received an ARC copy of this book via Booksprout and I'm voluntarily leaving a review.Told from the POV of both characters, this is PI Owen and Delilah's love story.Having met Owen at her best friend Cassidy's wedding a year before, a one night stand leads to Delilah and Owen forming a friendship whilst he finishes his last year in the military. Retuning home to civilian life, Owen seeks out Delilah to find out if his feelings are still as strong after a year, and whether Delilah still feels the same.Brilliant storyline, fab characters and loved the HEA.

Uncovering The Truth For Love
Delilah and Owen agreed to have one wild and wonderful night together, with the caveat that they would get back together when Owen returns in a years time. They happily embark on a relationship on Owen’s return, but he was keeping a major secret that impacted Delilah’s life. He tried to keep his professional life separate from his personal life, but everything blew up when information he discovered at work had a major impact on Delilah’s life. The information was misinterpreted to Delilah’s detriment and nearly changed the course of her life.As luck would have it, Owen was able to complete the investigation and uncover the real culprit, but this happened after Delilah discovered the secret Owen had been keeping from her. Delilah also discovered life changing new just before her life imploded, which heightened her anger when Owen’s secret was revealed. It took time apart and the intervention of Owen’s friend for Delilah’s anger to subside to the extent that she was able to forgive Owen and get back on track to get their happily ever after. This was a great read, with an interesting storyline and intriguing characters. I loved how the book flowed with a few surprises, some angst, a little bit of suspense and a mind blowing twist, that had me on the edge of my seat. This is a definite must read book, that you won’t be disappointed reading and you will be happy to recommend.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
