We are writing to express our extreme disappointment with a recent purchase from your store on Amazon. We bought an egg hatching incubator, filled it with eggs, and entrusted it with the hopes of a group of children in our care. These are children who have come from difficult backgrounds and often have experienced trauma.The incubator malfunctioned, ruining the entire batch of eggs. This caused immense distress and upset for the children involved. They had been eagerly anticipating the hatching and are now left feeling confused, frustrated, and deeply saddened. This is especially difficult for them because nurturing and witnessing new life was supposed to be an educational and enriching experience, fostering a sense of wonder and responsibility in these young minds. The faulty product stole that opportunity from them.We understand that malfunctions can occur. However, the emotional impact on these children is significant, given their already challenging pasts. Their trust has been shaken, and their excitement has been dashed in a way that compounds their existing vulnerabilities.While a full refund for the incubator is expected, it does little to address the emotional toll. We are requesting a modest compensation of £25 to help us replace the lost eggs and, more importantly, reignite the spark of wonder.We urge you to take this situation seriously and understand the profound impact it has had.
