THIS IS THE NEWER 2022 SEAM SEALED VERSION.
Purchased this tent directly from Amazon UK as I needed a decent value one person lightweight tent ,that would resist heavy rain.and last a long time.I was not disappointed at the bargain price of £373 .with interest free credit for five months ..The major selling point was that this is the 2022 Terra Nova Laser compact 1 tent that has been seamed sealed. And not the older version with the rain cover that covered the centre pole as it wasn't seam sealed..I used in January for a few days on the Yorkshire Moors. Despite the bad weather eg Heavy rain, wind, it stood up to the test with flying colours. The pegs whilst better than the last ones in the previous version, are small, lightweight, just about did the job. But wouldn't trust them for a week in rough windy weather . I will in future use bigger, stronger heavier pegs.Highly recommended..👍🏕️

Great tent shame about the head room
First of all the weight and packed size it's amazingly light and the pack size is amazing I can slide it in my rucksack side pockets or in the top zipper it's that short and little, the material of the tent is great super thin but super strong, the space in tent would be good enough for me if the height of the tent was as stated by the manufacturer and sellers but it's only about 86cm not the 95cm stated I absolutely love this tent just wish it didn't give me a bad neck and back while sitting up I'm going to still keep it I think because I love everything else about it would of been 5 stars if manufacturer/sellers were honest.

Great tent-for one person
What a great tent! It’s very light weight and packs down very small, especially when the pokes are packed separately from the tent. This is the 2022 model and doesn’t need the sleeve over the main pole to prevent leaks. The tent is way to pitch (as one-the inner is attached to the fly sheet) and takes up a small footprint. It’s a small tent- definitely one person. The inner is a bit “flappy” but not a problem. Porch space is really good-easily takes a 50 litre rucksack. It’s a 3 season tent, but could be used in the winter at a push. The tent is expensive, but you do get what you pay for. A few draw backs…only a small pocket, adequate but could be bigger, and no hanging loop for a light. Terra Nova tents rival Fjallraven and Hilleberg, and are cheaper. Excellent

Thistle be one light tent
I bought this cheeky wee monkey because I wanted a lightweight tent to go bike packing. I'm a 6ft 3inch chunk of meat with wide shoulders but this tent is still big enough for me. Any taller and I think it would be a pain in the hoop. The material is super thin and you need to be careful-when you save on weight you are going to compromise strength and general robustness. I camped on a thistle and the spikes came through the base layer and poked me on my hairy arse, just be careful where you park. The fasteners are quite small, especially for my sausage fingers but they have not let me down-so no complaints. There is a weird bit of material that straps on to the frame and that houses the guy ropes. It is utter cack and I can't see this tent being great in high winds. Having said that, I am glad I bought it. It is very light, it scrunches down very small and there is a large area to put your gear. It is very midgy proof-believe me it was tested in a cloud of midges and there were no gaps. Ive not had any major problems with condensation-yeah it gets wet but its well ventilated so it could be a lot worse. Its a quality tent and it goes up pretty quick.

Excellent
This is a great 1-man tent. Very lightweight and easy to put up and take down. Used many times for wild camping. No regrets paying a bit extra for a quality product.

A well tbought out , well designed and well made backpacking tent
Just come back from hiking Offas Dyke path rough camping for 14 days , a very light weight tent , two thunderstorms, and rain , always at night , and it proved completely water proof , its possible to sit upright in the centre of the tent but laid out the inner tent comes very close your face , im 5' 8 " and it was a very snug fit with enough room in the outer tent for my ruck sack , small tent pegs but they do the job , a great backpacking tent and i recomend it

Good wilderness hiker tent
Great for the highlands of Scotland which has very demanding weather and landscape. Quick to erect and good in windy and wet conditions. Very lightweight and easy to pack; but get a good lightweight generous stuffer sack, so you can rapidly pack it in rain. Good space for your backpack in the entrance and for cooking which you are NOT supposed to do but do when its wet. The weak points are the same for most tents in this bracket, ie zips are delicate, condensation is a pain. The poles are fragile and can get weak and break at the joints, particularly prone to snap if you do not engage the pole sections properly; which can happen when you are in a panic. Its a little difficult getting the poles into the sleeve when the tent is wet and you are in a hurry. Take a cheap footprint mat to prevent ground sheet puncture by bracken. Put bright coloured tape on the small end poles, so you can see them if they fall in the grass. Overall ,a fantastic tent and I always use it when hiking across Scotland.

Very light but also very small
I’m 6ft tall and weigh 19 stone, this tent is very lightweight but I find it very small inside, I had just enough length when stretched out but the tent inner touched my head when laid down and made me feel quite claustrophobic. Also the storm flap that you have to tie on to the main pole is very fiddly especially in bad weather, you need it on because it has two guy lines that you need to secure the tent.So although very light it’s definitely not the biggest inside and the fiddly storm flap makes it 3 stars.
