Have you ever thought about how much dirt and grime you bring into your house when you wear that same pair of shoes inside that you have been wearing all day outside? Have you considered all the dirt and all the germs that get stuck in your carpet? Have you ever considered how much more comfortable it would be to change from your dirty, sweaty shoes into a nice pair of clean and comfortable slippers when you come inside? In many Asian societies, people routinely take off their shoes and put on a pair of slippers as soon as they come inside. This helps to keep the home much cleaner and more sanitary. Plus, slippers are so much more comfortable to wear than street shoes and have the added benefit of giving your feet a chance to breathe and relax at the end of the day. These Asian-style house slippers are very lightweight and comfortable. Each slipper can be worn on either the left of the right foot. They slip on and off easily and feel good on your feet. They are very good quality and are well made. Plus they look really good. You will certainly be most pleased with them.

Forms to your foot, comfortable
It is obviously not bamboo. It's more like a tatami mat with straw forming the lining of the slipper. This and the open toe gives a nice cool feel. Don't freak out because they may have both have L or R on the sole. Just put them on and they will form to your foot very quickly. My only complaint is that the sole is vinyl so it begins to wear out quickly. If you don't wear socks with them, the straw can get tacky. Wipe the down once in a while to make them last longer. Still, I can get nearly a year before I need to toss them for another pair. People act like they should last years or something.

Comfortable & cool
My husband was looking for a pair of house slippers that wouldn't make his feet sweat. The bamboo bottoms help enormously in that regard. He says they sweat a little, but nothing like the plastic or cloth ones do. He wears a size 8 wide and bought the 7-8 wide and they fit perfectly. Nice looking too.

Great Slippers with he Japanese feel
The slipper came in but it did some some manufacturer fault in the stitching. Generally the slipper works great and its comfortable for the summer time as the bamboo sole is breathable.

Falling apart in less than a month
I've had this less than a month and it is already falling apart (see attached picture)Don't waste your money on this poorly made product.
