Having tried a few other zip slider repairs I thought I'd try this one as you can tighten it get a good secure grip to the zip. I had a surfboard bag narrow zip with 2 corroded ykk size 10 sliders that fell off. The zip was in good condition mind so tried this. It was fiddly bit managed to get it on and it works well. Saved me either 80 quid plus on a new board bag or the faff of sewing a new zip in. Many thanks.

Overall, I am pleased with this. The item had no information as to where to get instructions from, so there were just some basic unhelpful pictures on the packaging. A web search or three later (to get one that was easy to follow) was required.Basically, on a trouser zipper, you need to ensure that the zipper has anough teeth connected before you put the pull on.One thing that none of the videos appreciates is that the zip you are mending might be installed into an unforgiving pair of leather motorbike trousers. Nor were there any hints and tips such as, when zipping a zipper together by hand, there is a right and wrong way (the teeth on a zipper join together better when one side is placed over the other - which side your zipper works best with I can't say, but now you know).The metal loop could not be installed to get the zipper going, so this was done with no aid.Once the zipper teeth are back on track, you need to losen the adjuster on the puller in order for it to work smoothly. Then you (with difficulty) thread the cord through and make the plastic puller part.It all sounds very complicated, but it does work - and this was on possibly the most difficult of heavy duty zips. For the money I paid it was worth the hassle.

I have had to order two of these Fixnzips, both from Amazon not third party sellers. I had to return the first one as it came without the zipper in the packet (!). The second one came but not as illustrated: it had some cheap plastic and elastic deal instead of a metal zipper toggle as in the picture. Crucially the second one failed to fix my broken zip.Disappointed by whole farce and would not buy again.

Amazing bit of kit. Just saved £200 on a replacement surf board bag. Great design. Took a little to get it on, but once you understand it and it's going there's no looking back. This was for a chunky zip as well 🙏 Thanks guys!

Really good idea, just not cut for what I wanted though.It seems to jam up a fair bit. Not a bad price if it works for others, I may just have a one off faulty one perhaps?

This product was bought to fix the zip on a coat. Unfortunately it was more suited to use on a much larger item and as there is no exchange on the item it is consigned to the back of a drawer. and I am unable to rate it

I used it for a wetsuit as I didn't want to bin it due to the zip. This works perfectly and the varied sizes made it easy to sheet the right one. Worth every penny.

Took a couple of mins to install due to the base of the zip being difficult to access but works perfectly - highly recommended when the alternatives are to either bin the wetsuit or pay £50+ for a zip replacement.Will definitely be using again.

The product: I’m very happy that I was able to salvage my backpack using this product. Their instructions and video guide were very helpful with installation. So far it has held up well and is working as intended. I read other reviews that said that the knurled tightening screw can loosen, so I’ll be keeping an eye on that. If this does become an issue, I may try some Loctite on it. Regardless, this is the simplest and easiest solution I have found.The customer service: I ordered two FixnZip large black nickel zipper sliders to repair the 10 mm zippers on my backpack. Amazon delivered the envelope promptly. Although it contained two FixnZip packages, the side of the plastic bubble on one of them had been shattered and did not contain the actual item. The envelope didn’t contain the zipper nor the plastic shards, so this likely happened at the Amazon warehouse and they missed that one package was empty. The company affixed a sticker to the packaging that reads: “If you have trouble with installation, please contact us before you return. We would love to troubleshoot or exchange sizes at no cost. We are a small business that takes pride in customer service.” (Followed by a URL & phone number.)I called the number dreading having to deal with an automated phone system, and then having to explain or defend what had happened. Instead, a friendly guy answered right away. He apologized for the problem, thanked me for calling, and asked me to text him with the item I had ordered and my address. I got the replacement directly from them a few days later. They really do seem to be a small business that takes pride in customer service.I will definitely use this product again if I need a replacement zipper.

I purchased the FixnzZp through Amazon as a replacement for my broken motorcycle zipper that had broken. When I received it I realised that I couldn't get it to work correctly. I was going to contact Amazon and request a replacement as it didn't seem to work correctly. However, on the packaging I noticed a request from FixnZip to contact them with any concern's with the product fitment or installation, so I did that. I immediately got a response from Jonathan who was more than helpful and with some back and forth it was quickly determined that I'd ordered the wrong size zipper. To my surprise Jonathan has agreed to issue me with the correct sized zipper. Looking forward to getting this soon and using my favourite jacket again.Thank you Jonathan - I will recommend your replacement zippers and service to anyone that I come across looking for replacement zippers.All the best to you.

Did not work for me .If you have a big zipper like my car tent this is not the right piece .I spend several hours and this can not fix big zippers even I bought the largest one available
