These pants are super cozy, however, they fit very strangely. They seem to have taken men's pants and just made the waist smaller. There is a extra room in the front that seems to be for equipment female bodies don't have. Also the waist is too tight (I don't usually have this problem with pants) so I had to size up, making the pants very baggy. But I still gave them 4 stars because the price is good for 100% wool and they are super cozy and warm. I wore them night and day for my entire camping trip. I just wouldn't wear them without wearing something over them since they look really weird.

These are great and I wear them all the time, but they’re not quite warm enough for the German cold. I got the medium thickness and probably could’ve gotten the next thickest one. I wear them under my pants but i still get cold outside. Our temps have been 4°C/38°F if that helps you gauge. I will definitely be buying another pair because they comfortable, lightweight, and not itchy.

I just took these puppies up to 12,000 feet on a snowy 3-day backpacking trip in the Eastern Sierra Mountains and I fell head over heals! Thankfully not of the mountain, just in LOVE with these long underwear! They were my sleepwear (didn't want to climb into my sleeping bag in the pants I was hiking in - gross). I couldn't wait to get these on at night and, with 35 degree temps, I was so warm - I was the perfect temperature.A little about my body so you can pick your right size - I have a larger booty and thicker thighs with a smaller waste. I walk a fine line between L and XL, and generally opt for the larger sizes when I buy on Amazon (given I sometimes don't know where the product is produced - Hello China, I'm looking at you!). These fit my thighs and booty perfectly, but the waste was a little loose. Don't get me wrong, I was comfortable, just needed to pulled them up a lot when I visited the campfire with my friends for breakfast in the am or risk giving them a view they didn't hike 3 days to see. I could have probably ordered a Large and been fine. Next time - I'm ordering the top to go with.

Size, a little larger that anticipated. Baggy legs. Slightly too long. Good fit around waste. Soft, as described.(Bonus gift, Merino wool socks: itchy, foot length too long, uncomfortably constricting around ankles. Sufficient amount of cushioning).
