Nice to have around for transfers
I usually pivot transfer, but after being sick I am a little weaker so decided it was time to buy a slide board for certain places. Glad I did! It has made some of my transfers so much easier. The board is nice and sturdy. Seems well made.

Too small for an average sized adult
Too small for an average sized adult. Transfer was still extremely difficult. We had to cast this board to the side and use the body strength of the physical therapist to keep the patient from falling. This might help transfer a child, but I'm not recommending it. Because it's a Healthcare product, I didn't bother with trying to send it back. Waste of money if you're considering transferring an average sized adult.

Transfer Board
WORKED LIKE IT WAS MADE TO. I had to use this after an 18 foot drop resulting in multiple fractures 5 of which were in the pelvis. After surgery I was non weightbearing for 12 weeks in a wheelchair and had to use this to transfer without using my legs. Great board!

Defective transfer board!
This transfer board arrived in an intact box, but the board itself was defective. As seen by the attached photos, it has a horizontal crack down the entire length of the board. The Amazon site states that it’s eligible for return through November 13th and requested me to describe the reason for return. It also directed me to upload photos of the defective board. After submitting that information, I was directed to the “customer support selections” which did not give an option on how to return the board. It is totally unacceptable that a customer is expected to keep and pay for a product that is defective
