The product gives good power charging. However the general Apps supporting this device is not practical. Software designer is NOT experienced engineer who use this Apps every day.

This feels a well made EV Charger from Vorsprung but there are a few concerns...As I would thoroughly recommend a professional electrician instal this, (and I'm still waiting for my appointment), I'm going to assume it works as advertised. This therefore is a review of what you get in the box and how it feels. One early note with the packaging, is the use of a tiny plastic cable tie for a plastic bag that protects the charging head. Cutting this off is quite nerve wracking, as the potential to damage the cable is quite high so that's something to keep in mind.The main black box is pretty lightweight. On the side is a large and clear red reset button and on the underside the cable input and output. A wall mounting plate and fittings have been supplied, and the Amazon listing stated IP65 rating is great, perfectly acceptable for UK rain and weather. But there is a slight contradiction to this in the instructions. The instructions state the unit is rated as IP55, so I'm now not sure which to believe.There are three, all white RFID cards provided. Three cards is great but I would have hoped for a bit of "Vorsprung" branding on these. This actually was my biggest disappointment. They are very bland and I could see them easily getting lost or accidentally thrown away during some overzealous tidying if they are not stored somewhere carefully.The rubber cable is a decent length at 5.2 metres and features a slightly curved handle for the charging head, with a rubber rain cap to protect the ports.Ultimately, the fact that this is capable of 7.4kw, means this is a fast charger and ideal for my home and use. I'd just like clarification on the IP rating.

This EV charger does everything it says. Can charge the car from 20% to 90% in under 7 hours. Which costs £8 on the off peak tariff Can thoroughly recommend

This is so easy to fit and simple to use.I was worried I may need to hire an electrician but I was able to fit it myself as the instructions are very clear.The design is sleek, so it looks ok on the wall outside, not too noticeable.You can only charge your car if you have a security card, 3 are supplied in the box but I do worry that over time these may get lost or damaged and I’m not sure about ordering replacements. I would have preferred some way of approving access via the app.The charging cable is 5 metres long, so you don’t necessarily need to park your car right next to the box or make sure the charging point is on the same side.The app enables you to schedule when the car charges, utilising times when you have a cheaper tariff, especially useful on economy 7.Charging times are reduced, due to the higher power levels, so you’re not waiting so long for your car to charge.It is a lot of money to pay but worth it for the convenience and features.Hope you found my review helpful

As advertised it works as expected. You do need to get the device installed professionally by an electrician. Feels solid and has a good length of cable for reaching the charging point. Only issue is the apps are not very user friendly and can be awkward to use. Can't fault it does the job though.

This is a great electric car charger with being able to use cards to scan in order to charge although the cards are just a plain white I would have preferred even just a logo on there to show it belongs to the car charger and not just a plain empty card, as they’re so small in my house I can put it somewhere safe and then I forget! Especially as there’s no over ride and it only works with the cards which I get it’s a way of preventing anyone helping themselves to my electricity but although there are 3 cards what happens if I loose or damage those over time? Downloading the app was easy and able to set up with no issues. I like that it comes with over 5 metres of hose and I do love the sleek look of the charger is not ugly like some that stand out. Electric car chargers aren’t cheap but it’s a necessity so this is a good option over all especially as if I change my car with this being compatible with most makes and models I’m not having to go through the hassle and expense of changing it.

It has become an essential accessory for my EV, easy installation and fast charging speeds, truly impressed me with its performance and reliability, I have been enjoying the apps to monitor the charging status and it gives me an ability to schedule charge times to avoid the peak hours to reduce my electric bill, quality and efficient addition to my garage!
