Gateron Milky Yellow G Pro Pre-lubed Switches, 5 Pin Linear Switch MX Mechanical Keyboard Switches

Hands down, the BEST budget friendly switch for that amazing creamy sound. The factory lubing on this switch is honestly the best I have ever seen. They are so good that I had to buy another set for my gf’s keyboard to gift to her.Overall fantastic switch, dare I say one of the greatest.

Was building a keyboard and didn't want to spend a lot on the switches so I tired these. Not only do they sound amazing but feel fantastic! I liked them so much I decided to swap out some of expensive switches for these and ordered another set.If you like linear switches and want something smooth for gaming with a great sound profile these can not be beat!!!

The media could not be loaded.  This is my first custom keyboard build and the switches were the hardest decision, but decided to go the budget route. The milky yellows sound deeper than I expected which is pleasing, as I was looking for a deep thocky sound. I paired it with a tape modded GMK67 and some custom PBT Keycaps. I plan on picking up some lube and living the switches and stabilizers even tho I would say you don’t need to, the stock switches are great!

Gateron Yellows are God's switch. Smooth and linear, good for gaming or typing. Not as twitchy as red switches, more responsive than browns, and doesn't make you want to throw yourself in front of a moving train the way blues do. These come lightly pre-lubed, which helps the feel and sound profile even more. The only thing I'd warn you about with the milky yellow variant of the Gateron yellow is that the switch housing absorbs a good deal of light from RGB LEDs. If you're planning on using a dozen keyboards to turn your living room into a concert venue, think about going with a clear switch.105 of these for $40 is a great value compared to other "name-brand" switch prices when it comes to quality vs. price per switch. If you've ever looked at a keyboard listing and said, "What the heck is a Gateron yellow?", trust me when I say that it will change your life.

Out of the box, stock these are some quality switches. If you want to spend under $50 for enough switches for a full size keyboard this is a good choice. The living on these switches is only on the rails but it still manages to have zero scratchiness. I will try hand living some for a different feel but overall feels great on my gmmk pro with a polycarbonate plate. If you're someone who enjoys rgb these switches do a great job diffusing light and look great. I would recommend for anyone looking for a good sweet spot between budget and out of the box quality.
