I bought this after a far more expensive blender from a certain big brand stopped working.i didn't really expect much from it given it was over £70 cheaper but it does a great job and, dare I say it, perhaps easier to use than it's more expensive equivalent.I used it mostly to make smoothies with frozen fruit, works brilliantly.Also good for making pastes to use in currys.Washes well and takes up very little space on the kitchen worktop.It's sooooo much quieter than my previous blender too (there's jet aircraft that put out less noise!)

This broke on the 2nd use! I bought this for my partner to replace a previous, cheaper blender that had sadly, finally given up the ghost. On first opening it all looked jolly swish. But... The plastic beaker was terrifically hard to twist into position. We put it down to it being new and assumed it would get easier as it was used. We were not given the chance to find out. On using it a 2nd time, she found the beaker wedged in place and would not budge - necessitating a call asking me to come over and see if I could move it. It was soundly stuck. After much tentative twisting and giving up and trying again (bear in mind, this was brand new, we didn't want to damage it!) Eventually the cup twisted free ...leaving one of the plastic lugs (which lock it into place) snapped off and still firmly stuck in the blender housing.We returned it for a refund. VERY disappointed.

Not sure why people complain about the noise or what their expectations were, it’s no different than any other blender I’ve had…. Motors make noise, and the more powerful the louder….Bedsides, the noise for me comes from blending rock hard frozen fruit for my smoothies. Fortunately it only has to blend for 15 seconds or so.Generally just hit the pulse setting and it auto blends in no time.The suction cup feet are great, I have a stone worktop and it really suckers itself down.Providing I’m not unlucky and it doesn’t break for me it’s 5/5. Any blender that can make frozen strawberries and decent size chunks of frozen fruit completely smooth is a winner!

Works as intended. Blends really well. Just wish it was a little quieter and didn't make the kitchen smell of smoke after 2 mins of usage.
