Very useful
Easy to grow shouts. Easy to clean. Nice compact size for small bathes. Had alot of success growing small batches. Good value.

A triumph of form over function
It looks pretty, but it doesn't work. The bottoms of the trays are solid so the water doesn't drain away, and the tubes sticking up from the bottoms allow about a centimetre of water to lie in the trays, so the seeds are submerged. I had to use a tea strainer to drain the water out and then spread the seeds around so they weren't clumped together. This is not a good way to handle delicate sprouts. There are no instructions, so I'm sending it back for a refund.

Lack of Instructions
The unit seems well designed and produced but there were no instructions and I cannot find any on line.Whilst not technically difficult there are features which are not readily understood.

Space saving tier system, just ensure you don't overfill.
My first attempt had 2 trays draining well, but the third was always getting blocked. I ended up throwing the seeds out and starting again. The second time, I only used 1 teaspoon of the tiny cress seeds (not 1 tablespoon) and it's all doing well. Looking forward to trying different types of seeds, particularly the larger varieties. The 3-tier tray saves space and fits on the windowsill to allow all the seeds to gain sunlight to finish. When the water flows well, it irrigates all three levels and collects in the handy drip tray, which I also use for soaking the seeds initially. I try to stagger the seeds to have a continual yield, so I've marked each tray. I am quite impressed with it, so I have purchased a second one for a friend. I had originally thought the grooves in the individual trays were drainage, but this is only in one place, and each spout flows into the one below, so it's important to have them in opposite areas for the seeds to be fully rinsed. Be careful when lifting, as although they all slot into one another, they can flip, so best to use two hands!

Poor drainage, waste of money
I had a seed sprouter about 30 years ago that had drainage holes in it that worked well. This however, has just one drainage hole, (the bottom of each tray is corrugated), which is covered with a cap to prevent the seeds/beans clogging it.But the drainage is very intermittent so sometimes your seeds can be sitting in water. The instructions were poor - just a few pictures on the packet, with a bar code to scan and take you to ‘instructions’, which said much the same as the side of the box.Very disappointed.

Ideal sprouter for sprouting broccoli
I use this sprouter for making broccoli sprouts. It is sturdy, easy to clean, fits on my windowsill and does the job perfectly. Remember to keep the siphons clear of little seeds, as they can clog the siphons. Regular rinsing of the sprouts (twice daily) ensures that the sprouts are fresh, mould-free and odour-free. This is easy to achieve with this sprouter, and I can recommend it to novice sprouters who are to nervous of trying the mason-jar method.

Disappointing
I am new to this and expected some instructions to come with the product, but nothing.I find 4 plastic things inside and have no idea what they are for so don't know how to use this. Decided to give it a try but water is not draining down to the bottom level so seeds sitting in water!! Why no instructions with this.
