Great series
Really enjoyed this series while I was down with my knee surgery! Fun to read from the adoptees perspective

Heart wrenching as I empathize
I am both an adoptee and a birth mom. This book was impossible to put down - luckily an easy read… except for a triggering chapter about an assault - something I’ve also experienced including the stalking and menacing behavior of a psychopathic ex boyfriend.Liv reminds me so much of me as a teenager. I didn’t find my birth mom until I was 50 and my outcome was different from hers; But I know a majority of the reunions I have helped facilitate - birth moms don’t make space for the adoptee in their lives. It’s not as much rejecting the adoptee but having to move through the pain that created the situation in the first place. . . Which hasn’t yet been explored in this story. The storytelling is absolutely amazing! I wish all authors were as this skilled in storytelling as Meggan is.The feelings of Liv as an adoptee - so real, and so relatable for most adoptees. What a journey! Can’t wait to read the rest of it!

Couldn't put it down!
This book is beautifully written! It keeps you on the edge of your seat and connects you to the characters who seem to leap off of the page and into your heart. It tackles real life hardships making them relatable and allow you to see them from a new prospective. I can't wait to read Meggan's next book. I'm an avid reader and she just became my new favorite author!

Brilliant Writing- Couldn't put it down!
Meggan Larson's book " ADOPTION" touched our hearts as she shared her courageous journey. Her writing is easy to read and flows as we finished this book in only two days. As I am a mother of 7 children, including 4 infants adopted from foster care, survivor of both childhood and domestic abuse (not by parents), this book provided meaningful discussion to those who have felt unwanted, unheard, unseen. Meggan's story brings hope to anyone touched by adoption. Highly Recommended.

Excellent Book
I loved the excellent story telling this book provided. I look forward to Book 2 and 3! As an adoptive mom I’m always interested in reading about the topic. This book provides another point of view from the adoptee’s perspective. Grab a copy and enjoy it in one sitting much like I did!

So relatable
This book was so hard to put down. I found myself wanting to read on to see what happened next and now look forward to reading the next book in this series.Although I am not adopted, there are definitely ways I could relate to what Liv was feeling.

God shone right through you!
I haven't got enough praise to give Meggan for the work and dedication she put into this first volume of the trilogy. I had to pace myself so I wouldn't finish it too quickly. By today I knew I would be finishing it tonight, and I did so with mixed feelings.I am so proud of my dear friend, but now have to wait impatiently for Book 2. There are parts of Book 1 that really made me think, and others that brought tears to my eyes. My darling friend, you have a gift. Thank you for sharing it with us. God bless you, hubby and the kiddos ❤️
