Sturdy old fashioned lamp wire. Very nice

Has to modify a lamp for its height off the floor. This wire has a heavy yet flexible casing covered by a close weave polyester sheath. I like it better than the cord that came with the light fixture. Smart looking if you re-wire or make lamps.

Quality is superb. Cord cover is tight and no wrinkles or frayed ends!!!

Likes: Gorgeous, consistent covering, rigid insulation that doesn't seem to stretch.Dislikes: The insulation is very hard to strip without nicking the inner insulators, the cloth wrapping is fairly easy to abrade and pull away during insulation.

This cord is very attractive and goes perfectly with the vintage lamp I used it for. It's not the easiest to work with, however. I had to work very carefully to prevent any unwanted damage as I was installing it. But just be careful and take your time and it will be fine.

Perfect for the job of lengthening cord for over table lamp.Problem is what to do with the excess 20 feet!!Solution give it to neighborhood handyman!

I wanted something that is quality but also looks nice, exactly like the picture.

On time, clean and easy to work with. Next time I will try to purchase one with a ground wire as well.
