Three-Dimensional Treatment for Scoliosis

This book should be a must have for any professional treating people with scoliosis. The text is clear. The method is so well described. And the photos are unique proving the progress during the training. Scoliosis is very often made a 2D issue and it certainly is a 3 D. The book is a result of professional work over many years - carried by care and passion for the subject.

I bought this book for my wife as she suffers terribly with Scoliosis. Also good for me to read so I can be of some help to her.Hopefully with the exercises and treatments explained in the book she can avoid surgery as long as possible.Very helpful and informative, a great reference book.

excellent book for people suffering from severe back conditions, but needs guidance from expert physiotherapists to assess the individual condition of the spine disease as certain exercises are not suitable and can cause damage. Very helpful book in understanding the mechanical side of scoliosis and breathing.Definitely a must read for anyone with the condition.

I learned quite a lot tried to get treatment in London Hammersmith all my emails, txt messages and phone calls are ignored, I having treatment in Vienna now. In Germany they have 300 clinics and it is on the National Health. In England I am offered pain killers

I bought this excellent book on the subject for my wife who has been looking for this kind of information, and even bought two books which were not as illustrative or descriptive. She finds this book as useful as an encyclopedia

for the professional with a knowledge of anatomical terms

Arrived quickly and in good condition. Haven't read it all yet but looks ok and easy to read. I bought it as a self-help book.

The book is outdated and uses old terms etc (not anatomical terms). But the concepts, examples, explanations really help. When you take your Schoth course, the instructors jargon doesn't always give you the full understanding of a concept. But this book and the other Barcelona Schroth book uses other descriptions. So some concepts suddenly sink in, and you are able to more fully see the whole picture. In addition, the certification course takes you through the positions, but when you start treating, you need more than those 4 exercises and these books provide you with those exercises and concepts. However, I purchased these books before taking the 10 day certification course. Before the course, the reading was difficult. After the course, you can skim through to find the nuggets of information you need.

This is a very concise and complete manual for diagnosis and treatment of every type of scoliosis. An excellent book I strongly recommend for any health care practitioner. Note this is very technical and not meant for the average reader.An understanding of the anatomy of the skeletal and muscular system is the minimum level of understanding to be able to successfully use this manual.

Il libro è in lingua inglese, molto chiaro sui concetti, molto ben fatto.Una bibbia da avere per il trattamento delle scoliosi.Bisogna anche tenere in conto che è l'unica metodica di trattamento delle scoliosi molto valida a livello di EBM.
