Great for katsu curry
I buy some large breaded chicken fillets, and roast them in the oven. Then I make up a curry sauce with this curry roux, by simmering it sith 500g onions, 300g carrots and 400g potatoes, and 750ml hot water for about 20 mins. Slice the cooked breaded chicken fillets into strips of about 1 inch wide, place them on beds of rice on plates, pour the cooked sauce over the cooked breaded chicken fillets, job done. This makes 5 adult portions. It's not spicy at all. Just the way my children like it. They aren't keen on spicy curries. I suspect the local Chinese takeaways make a sauce similar to this, because the curry sauce that comes from them taste a bit like this too.

I have tried the various heat levels with this brand and recommend them all
I was forced to buy mild as I was cooking for people who aren't keen on spicy food, but I didn't really mind as this is still delicious. I have tried the various heat levels with this brand and recommend them all. I usually make this like so:Saute onions until soft add garlic and chili if you want more heat and cook for another few minutesAdd 700ml of water 1kg of diced chicken (breast or thigh) and a 200g block of Golden Curry and simmer until the chicken is cookedAdd mixed veg (sliced peppers and mangetout, or frozen mixed veg is good too) and 1-2 cans (depending on taste) of coconut milk and heat throughThis makes about 10-12 servings which can be frozen - but I always get people coming back for seconds.

Yummy
Brilliant cheat way to a katsu curry, prawn curry or flavours to your own recipe!A little over priced compared to the shops, but likely due to quarantine.

Best Katsu Curry
This is the best curry ever... tastes just like the kind you get in any Japanese restaurant. Yum! Most katsu curry in jars or pre-packaged meals doesn't taste anything like this and is usually a bit fruity. This is wonderful and I am obsessed.
