Does what it says.Tablet holder more secure than expected though can't properly tighten adaptor to the head.could have done with a central hook underneath as my tablet is heavier than the tripod.So far, the remote doesn't always work as shutter realease on all apps, sometimes it works as audio mute instead.Of course everything feels a bit fraqile - it's not a Manfrotto!Overall, for the price, I can't complain.

The tripod is quite light and doesn’t feel steady, even for a phone. The clamp you use for the phone is problematic. If you want to place your phone in Landscape position is impossible to balance straight, so you have to straighten it up playing with the length of the legs.Other than that, it comes with a handy case and it’s good just for fun.

I recently bought my second of these tripods after my first finally stopped functioning.The first one was two years old which you may not think was a good amount of time to last. But that poor tripod stood up to a lot of misuse! It came out on walks one or more times a week, hanging from my dog walking belt by its legs (I found the bag it came with fiddly). Sun, wind, rain, snow, sand.. it coped with it all. And mud. Lots of mud.Yes, one of the bottom-most sections of one of the legs snapped off, but this tripod probably isn't designed to help lever a person out of mud when their wellies have got really stuck and they are about to faceplant. Nonetheless it did! And it continued in its sterling service for another year (after I snapped the other bottom bits of the legs off so it was even).My dog has achieved two Champion parkour titles filmed with the trusty first tripod, along with filming homework on a daily basis most weeks of the year for our online training classes. I think I've definitely got my £15 worth!When Tripod One finally gave up, I looked at upgrading to a posher tripod given how much I use it, but came back to this one as it's stood me in good stead. And I can't guarantee not to break an expensive one with this sort of use!The newer one has a different clip for the phone than the old one - and it seems more secure. The bag is better quality too. The remote was super easy to set up on an iphone and will come in handy for starting videoing (I somehow lost the old one before I ever used it!)

The tripod is OK, or at least it would be if the legs weren't bowed. The box it comes in looks like it's designed just for the tripod. However, this item comes with a phone holder, a GoPro adapter, and the USB controller, and these have all been stuffed in the same box. The result: the instructions (written in tiny) are crumpled to beggary, and the tripod legs are bowed inwards. Some bending required to get them to fully extend, and some silicone lubricant to get them to slide back. So... a good tripod design but geniuses in the packaging department have lost these guys a couple of stars.

As our iphone has replaced our camera as the best way to take photos, we had been considering a tripod for some time. However, as it is only something we use for holidays or family get-togethers, it is not an item I want to spend too much on. This tripod is therefore ideal for us. It is lightweight, has all the functions I need to set up a photo, is easy to set up and pack away and has a handy travel bag.I had read several reviews saying it is flimsy and it is (I wouldn't set it up in a brisk wind) but I didn't think it would be very rugged or robust at this price. I have found that, as long as you don't manhandle it, it works fine.At this price, I think it is a very good piece of kit and I would recommend it.

At this price its a must have for beginner, and even professional photographers / videographers. I am particularly surprised at how sturdy it was, even at its maximum height! It also came with extra mountings for your phone or tablet, this is very helpful since you will not have to order extras. The remote control also works flawlessly and is more then helpful.

Happy with this. I had 2 previous very cheap small tripods, that broke very quickly, and fell over once your phone went in.Impressed with this tripod. It's worth the money, and is a lot more sturdier than my other 2 fails.Have been using for almost 2 months now. Aside from the lever not tightening properly, it's great. You can make it as short or as tall as you need it, you can rotate the phone holder to go in sideways or length ways. The angles are great, you can have your phone facing something directly underneath too, which is great for my timelapse videos.It's met all of my hands free expectations.The only con is having to unclip 9 hinges on the legs. Bit annoying, but not a problem.Worth the money! Annoyed now that I bought 2 cheaper ones that snapped. Wish I'd seen this first. Basic, but versatile and sturdy.

I liked it. First of all, since it is very light, it did not bother me even though I took it with me everywhere. I take very nice pictures with this tripod when I go for a walk in the morning or when I go on trips where I can take beautiful pictures. Also, the tripod is our savior instead of looking for other people to take family photos. A quality tripod. And having a control remote is very advantageous. Taking pictures is very practical and easy.
