Recently bought an Ecoflow and solar panels. Had to run 2 solar cables thought the side of the house. 1" hole. The grommet fit the cables perfectly and actually pressed completely into the outer hole nicely(which is in stucco), and the inside of the house came through an old phone receptacle I removed which had a blank faceplate screwed over it. I had drilled a 1" hole through the face of that and used another grommet. Fit perfectly, cables slid through nicely and it provides a finished look while being functional. Perfect.

I was a little nervous about how it would fit in the wall since there's no lip to anchor it behind the wall like the ones I used for my passthrough kit. They fit secure and look great. 10/10

I used the 1 inch grommets recently to cover the speaker wire wall holes in a home theater project I just completed. They stay in the wall pretty good and don’t require overly large holes of 2 to 6 inches required by other products. You would think vendors in this field would provide smaller hole options for their products, but this is one of the only vendors I found that understands the smaller the hole, the better. Provides a minimal presence on the wall and makes it much easier to repair later. Now, if I could only find a 1.5 inch grommet for the tv wires, that would be great. But I almost prefer to have no grommet than using some oversized wall plate that requires a huge hole, especially if no one will ever see it behind the tv.

I am dabbing in woodworking, and these are excellent to build a cable pass through.

Used this product to bring a USB wire neatly through a wall.
