Sizzix Bigz Die 2 1/2-inch Finished Half-Square Triangles, Multi-Color

I bought this die to save time cutting out patchwork pieces. The die cuts straight through the fabric (I used 6 layers of cotton) there were no threads left attached and the pieces are ready for sewing in a fraction of the time it would take to cut by hand. Thank you.

The 4” half square triangle Die. Product suggests 5” squares - sadly that doesn’t work at all. Need larger. Handy Die though and more accurate than hand cut

All was well for the first few cuts beautifully quick and accurate - although never through 8 layers. However it wasn't long before corners failed to cut properly and one side of the triangle, above the Sizzix logo on rear of the die, didn't cut more that two layers of quilting cotton fabric. Not very satisfactory and not as advertised.

The Sizzix Machine is so much easier to use than the Accuquilt! Plus you can get exactly the same dies much cheaper and I loved this die to pieces because everyone says to stitch a scant 1/4" now and unless you have an Elna sewing machine you can't buy one here.

These Hexagon Dies will save time as multiples can be cut at one time. Accurate cut, good value.

Bought as a present, used it to make a 6x8ft quilt. Over the moon.
