sourcingmap 1/2" Dia Straight Router Bits Double Flutes 3" Flute Length with 1/2" Shank

Bought this to rebate the back of a large oak mantle to accommodate some brackets. Did the first 2” of the work with a standard router bit from Screwfix, did the last 1” with this bit. Made 6 passes of 150mm in length at a depth of approximately 10mm increments and the bit looked like it does in the photos. The standard bit (which had done twice the work) looked in good condition (used again for other jobs and disposed so no photos). The quality of this bit is very poor but for my application it did the job. One of the few half inch x 3 inch bits I could find, relatively cheap and delivery was swift.

This cutter was bought to use on an old oak beam. I cut in increments and it behaved perfectly. No signs of blunting or burning. Very happy.

As others have said, the cutting blades on this router bit shatter and disintegrate with very little use. Returned for refund.

Wonderful i used it on a Trend lock to make a perfect mortise , the lock was 63mm deep . With this you do every thin once and just fit your lock without a use of auger bit to extend the depth of your resess . I used to do the same with Trend bit before ,but the holes would be shallow, where by i could extend the hole with a auger bits and a chisel.

amazing brand, I’m a carpenter and I was using this on green oak and it absolutely held up its own, ripping through it and lasted a good 10 hours of routering I was amazed, hopefully not a one off as I only bought one but will buy another

My dad installed my kitchen recently. Getting the worktops to fit snug and look good was a big deal. So far this product has done a great job. We had previously bought one from a well known supplier and it didn't seem anywhere near as good as this one.

This bit was perfect for routing out 3 inch depth sash locks. Couldn’t fault it it’s precision and cut was spot on with very sharp tips will buy another.

very sharp bit. Would buy again most certainly. Highly recommend.
