Works as expected
I am using it to power an LED "NEEWER® High Intensity 16.4 Feet 300 LEDs Flexible LED Light Strip". It runs on 12V DC and this supply has more then enough power to keep it on. It does the job. I have been using it over over a month without any incident. The size is good. Some reviewers have complained about the connector not being right. Unfortunately, there are no standards for this. If you buy something like this, it is almost certain you will need to splice in your old connector. In my case, I just cut it off and wired it in using wire nuts. BTW, I am using the LEDs for under counter lighting in the kitchen. They work great.NEEWER® High Intensity 16.4 Feet 300 LEDs Flexible LED Light Strip Superbright 3528 SMD Pure White

It came up short, literally
Yes, the cord is shorter than advertised. In the product description it said it was 70 inches, mine is about half that. But the voltage and amps it got right, as the socket/connector size. The socket is 5.5 x 2.1mm, which is standard. So it fits and worked fine, but the cord was just too short. I got it as a replacement for a wireless router so I really needed it far away from the electrical interference. But it seems to work just fine, so I didn’t return it. It was only $5 after all.BTW, when looking for a replacement adapter, always match the volts EXACTLY. The watts can be higher, in fact they it works better if it is a little. I followed that advice. My old adaptor was 120V and 1.5 amps. This one is 120V and 2 amps and it works great. Never undershoot the amps though, that could cause big trouble. I researched this quite a bit before buying, just so you know.

A good 2 amp wall wart
This is a pretty good transformer. Its size makes it a bit cumbersome for a power strip, but that's a very minor issue. Other than that, its design is pretty good in comparison to other versions. It stands off from the wall or power strip by a quarter inch and prevents heat transfer while permitting air to circulate around the transformer. This can be helpful in applications that run continuously. It puts out a solid 2 amps, making it a very useful DC power source for just about any 12 volt device that uses this type of power supply. It comes with a standard 2.1mm male power connector so it is ready to go with a majority of DC devices.

Good power supplied but they vary in configuration
I ordered (4) of these wall-wart 2A, 12VDC power supplies for a radio transmitter project. I got 2 different styles of plug in boxes - one is vertical and one is horizontal. It didn't matter for my purposes, but it may to others. I needed to cut the coaxial plug off the end since the equipment I was powering had screw terminals so I did not pay attention to plug polarity. The wires are striped to indicate positive and negative polarity and I found that the units I got were not consistent (some had white stripe = plus, and some white stripe = minus). The lesson is to always check polarity with a meter. My transmitter draws over 1 Amp while transmitting so I was concerned that the 2 Amp rating was indeed correct. So far no issues - they seem to be able to deliver the needed amperage at 12VDC.All in all, the power supplies work and I've had no issue with them since installing a month ago. Despite a few variations in configuration as noted above, they do what they are supposed to do and the price is outstanding.

FALSE wire length. Only HALF of what is stated in the description...
I specifically bought this particular adapter because the product description says Wire length: 70.50" which is very untrue. This is stated TWICE in the description. The power adapter just arrived today and the wire length is 35.75" only HALF what was stated in the description. As far as I can tell from a quick look over all the other specs are as stated but I required a plugin over 5 ft. Very disappointed and will not order from again if their specs will be false.Outside of that it seems sturdy and well made although have not used only handled so I can not state more information

Power Adapter image is for a different model
I need a 12Vdc, 1.5A power adapter with the two power prongs oriented like the one in the image. What arrived is quite different than the image, smaller and very similar to the power adapter I am replacing, with the ac prongs "sideways", so I can't use it. No comments on the actual electrical performance of the power adapter, i couldn't fit it into my media cabinet to test it.

Cheap replacement for lost power adapter
I had a BlacX SATA dock with a missing power adapter. I thought I'd go to Fry's Electronics and just pick one up. Woe is me, Fry's has all kinds of adapters, and I must have found the one helpful guy in the store who actually understood power adapters. Unfortunately, they don't carry a 12V 2A power adapter.. at least not the day I was there. While standing in line to buy other stuff, I searched Amazon on my iPhone, found this item, and Primed it.. I had to wait a couple days to get the dock working again, but it works great with this adapter and I didn't have to spend another $30 or so on a whole new unit. Thanks Logisys!

Worked great on Vision Fitness Elliptical Trainer x1500
I ordered the Logisys PSAD24 24-Watt 12v AC Power Adapter as a replacement for my Vision Fitness Elliptical Trainer. The 12v, 2 Amp Adapter jack fit perfectly, the specs are the same, and even the size is the same. It was labeled as a Sagem when it arrived. It costs less than half the price of the OEM replacement from Vision Fitness. A side note is power adapters need the same voltage, + and - jack, but only need the same or greater amperage as a replacement. Circuits draw only the Amps needed. That is why most 19v adapters work on most notebooks as long as the adapter is rated at the same or greater amps since most are rated at 19 volts.
