Amazing book. I have not even covered a fraction of it and have already learned a lot of useful things. Well worth having if you are a homesteader. It is intended for aid workers but also very useful for anyone who is looking to live a more self sufficient life.

This book has a lot of excellent material that is very useful for the planning stages of providing aid in large scale emergencies. It touches on everything you might need to know but didn't think about.Very easy to find what you need. It contains a lot of useful standards and guidelines

If you borrow a copy via inter-library loan, you will see just how useful it is. Evaluating a potential runway for a C-130 cargo plane by driving a 4X4 down the field at 30 MPH and see if you need to hang on to your seat!
