Great if you get the right version
**Update 4/2/2018**: I'm upgrading my review back up to 4 stars, but with one caveat: Make sure you get the newest "Carb Control" version rather than the older "Live Lean + Toned" version of this product. The new version (which says "Carb Control" on the package) goes back to the original formula, which is really good. I would happily give that 5 stars, except for the fact that (even after all this time) Amazon is still not guaranteeing you won't get the "Live Lean + Toned" version, which is slimy and disgusting. So if you order and receive a version of the product that says "Live Lean + Toned" on the label, don't drink it - just send it back.======================**Update 5/10/2017**: Amazon is still selling both versions, and will not guarantee that you will get the good stuff ("Carb Control") rather than the disgusting, undrinkable stuff ("Live Lean + Toned"). Abbott should do the right thing and just recall the "Live Lean + Toned" version rather than continuing to sell this nasty, slimy stuff to an unsuspecting public. My advice: Don't buy any of this until they guarantee you'll get the new stuff, or if you do buy it and get the "Live Lean + Toned" version, send it back. It's terrible.========================**Update 4/7/2017**: The Manufacturer has announced (in the comments of this review) that they are bringing back the old "AdvantEdge Carb Control" version, and it should be available on Amazon "in the next few weeks". That version was awesome, so I plan to revise my review appropraitely once the good stuff is back out again. My 1-star review was for the "Live Lean + Toned" version, which they are now discontinuing. If your thinking of buying this, make sure you get the (upcoming) "AdvantEdge Carb Control" version of these shakes - not the "Live Lean + Toned" version (which is the one that has problems). For the record, Abbott/EAS has been very responsive to my concerns and to those of the other folks who had issues with the "Live Lean + Toned" version, so that speaks really well for their customer focus and followup. I would like to say thanks to Abbott for how well they've handled this problem, and I'm looking forward to being able to buy the good stuff again!!!======================================**Original Review from September 2016**: I used to really love the EAS AdvantEdge Carb Control shakes, but the new "Live Lean + Toned" version is awful. Every one I've opened has clunks of slime clogging the opening - I guess that's unmixed "protein". Yuck. Then the rest of the shake is about as thin as skim milk, and no matter how much you shake it, it still doesn't mix, so it's all pretty much like skim milk with floating chunks of slime. At first I thought maybe I just got a spoiled batch, but they all seem to be this way now. I'm not sure why they changed the formula, but the new stuff is undrinkable. I'm dumping it out and cancelling my "subscribe and save" (I was ordering 2 dozen a month of the old ones). If you're thinking of buying this product, don't. If you're still not convinced, maybe try 1 shake rather than buying a dozen. That way you won't be dumping the rest down the drain like I'm doing.=======================================**Edit 10/19/2016**: In response to the manufacturer's comment, I called EAS/Abbott to discuss the problem, and they offered to send me a refund. They were interested in the lot number from the packages, but unfortunately I had already thrown them out...so if you have a similar issue, it's worth talking to the manufacturer (and keeping the bad product so they can trace the issue). I still will not be buying this "Live Lean + Toned" version, and I really wish they'd just revert to the old formula, which I always really liked. Anyway, thanks to the manufacturer for at least offering a refund, and for listening to my concerns.

Finally went back to the original formula!
2nd Update 11/8/17: I waited as long as possible before trying to order this again since I heard they went back to the original formula, but customers were still getting the new formula through Amazon. I am ecstatic that Abbott listened to their customers and went back to the original. Great flavor and texture and just the perfect amount of protein that doesn't push me over my macros. Thanks Yay! FIVE STARS!Initial review of Live Lean + Toned: I used to get the Carb Control EAS drinks and ordered them biweekly. They were my favorite drinks to supplement my protein needs without filling me with a bunch of sugar. (I'm on the Ketogenic diet) I bought the New Formula Vanilla when I ran out of my stock hoping they'd be alright since they have the lowest carb count of all the flavors.Horrible.No matter how many times I shook, stirred or even blended there was an awful chunky tapioca texture to it. I wish I read the reviews first. EAS, go back to the original formula! The taste was perfect before. Never buying these again. One Star****UPDATE: I just wanted to add that I contacted Abbott with the customer reference number they provided and I was offered a full refund. They did ask the lot number, so if you are unhappy with your shakes, keep the packaging. While I'm still not happy about the drinks, I am very pleased that they took my complaint to heart and offered compensation. That said, I'll give them an extra star for their excellent customer service. Two stars

Delicious and filling shakes!
These shakes are my favorite high protein, low carb shakes. I have one for breakfast everyday! I have actually tried all available flavors, but I keep coming back to the Chocolate Fudge shakes. They are just so delicious! They really do taste like chocolate milk or Yoohoos to me. At 100 calories and only 3 carbs, they are the perfect way to start your day. They are also full of vitamins, and the protein (17g) makes it so they are actually really filling as well. If I have one at 9:00 AM, I am usually good to go until lunch time. I can't think of many other 100 calorie foods that can do this. That being said, there are a few things you should probably know. You really do have to drink these shakes cold. Sometimes I even put them in the freezer for a few minutes before I leave the house. They just aren't very good at room temperature or warm. Also, I do not store them in the refrigerator before I am going to drink them. I don't put them in until the night before. I've never had it happen to me, but some people have had problems with the consistency/texture of the shake if they are kept in the fridge for too long before drinking. Just to be safe, I don't do that. These shakes have really helped me in my journey to healthy eating, and I will definitely keep buying them!

Delivery peson leaves package out in plain sight to be stolen
I like the taste of choc fudge and quick to use for breakfast and evening snack. Love the free shipping Do NOT like the lady who delivers with man in her car of product. She leaves packages outside screened door of screen porch so close to door that if I tried to open door I would punch hole in the screen. The door bell is not rung. Packages that the couple deliver is placed right in front of door ( not room to open door) and is left right out in plain sight and is easy to be stolen. My USPS, UPS, and FedEx delivery person, opens the screen door and leaves it on the porch , thus out of the weather, sun, and unseen by robber. My delivery person needs to make sure packages are secure or else it will be disputed to the credit card company as undelivered. Otherwise, Amazon is doing a great job, wide selection, great prices, and fast delivery. My family does a lot of business with your company.
