Knew the scale was small, but want to flag for others. Got for my son and his young boys since he served on it. But definitely not of scale for a young boy to assemble or even an adult without patience. But complete set with all parts and looks good

Some of the pieces were so small they were irrelevant. The directions were not always clear. A lot of work, but my son did a MEU on the Boxer, so I built it for him.

My son is currently assigned to the USS Boxer is the reason for my purchase. I gave this to my 9 year old grandson as a birthday gift. He didn't realize what it was when he first ripped off the wrapping paper. His mother informed him it was a model. His eyes popped with excitement, he read the box, realizing it was a model of the same ship his daddy was on. My son and he are finding precious bonding time as they work on the model together. Read the dimensions. Very good quality, life like. I highly recommend this Building Kit.
