Uncomfortable and awkward to use.

Easy to use and clean great strong product no sharp edges whatsoever overall nice product

I bought this as a 'back-up' just in case I was caught short and someone was in the bathroom - I don't get a lot of time between my brain telling me I need a good movement and actually having a good movement...maybe 3 seconds! I tried it for the first time yesterday and sat (steady!) on it and waited. Nature took it's course and when I'd finished I stood up - unfortunately, the pan came with me.Sitting on it had caused a vacuum and it was stuck like a super-glued limpet...complete with load. Well I never expected that! I couldn't go to Sainsburys like this, I had to act and act fast, I had to pull it off. But it was full, it could go anywhere and the dog wouldn't be too happy as he'd just been shampooed.I sat down and, holding the handle whilst standing up, the pan gave a big whoosh and released itself from my derriere, load intact and safe. Thank god, that was a tight situation.I'm not sure about this item. I mean I'm not the maximum user weight by any means but maybe my derriere is too big, maybe there's a width limit. I think I will hover from now on.

Thank you for the opportunity to review this bed pan;'tis indeed a wondrous thing and prevents no end of mess.The only criticism I would make is that the underside is very smooth causing it to slide off the bed.l've had to replace the bedroom carpet four times but I consider this a small price to pay.The carpet fitter didn't agree.This was a Christmas present for my wife but when she unwrapped it in front of all our guests she didn't seems as grateful as I expected.Last expensive present she'll get from me

Compact and probably useful if you really need it; but not needed here, unfortunately!

This is the third bed pan I've bought for my father. The first one had a very rough edge on one side, that I hoped wouldn't be felt, but it caused him skin damage. The second one I got arrived cracked because of poor packaging.Even the third one required me sanding the roughish edge with sandpaper to smooth it!It might be a better design than the NHS one, but all this work meant at one point we had spent over £30 on bedpans but didn't have any we could use. The whole return and review process took about 90 minutes and this is an item them is frequently required by vulnerable people who don't have a lot of energy and mobility.So over all not good enough.

Good quality. Good price.Could be a bit bigger. Ok for a small person
