So far, so good.
Got them for my wife. Miendels weren't quite fitting her so changed to scarpas. Obviously paying a cost for a high quality product, but there been broken in and on a few walks low level. Her feet are comfy and dry. Happy wife......

Best boots I have ever owned
Very comfortable straight from the box, sturdy without being cumbersome, very good grip and waterproof. Some reviewers seem not to like the round laces, but I do - they slide through the eyelets well and so are easy to pull tight. I just put a double bow in and they stay done up! All-in-all a fantastic pair of boots.

Exactly what I was looking for.
I had Scarpa boots for twelve years and the sole came off. I’d done a lot of walking in them over this period so thought i’d stick with what I knew. These grip well and feel so solid. The only reason I dropped a star is on every walk i’ve been on i’ve had to empty them of stones/mud. There must be something about the way they grip that stones and bits end up going down the top. Still love them though and they look great and seem like they will last a long time.

I Love Scarpa Ranger Boots!
It's pretty much impossible to get good quality hiking boots in high street stores where I live nowadays. M******* W******** products are cheap in everything but price, how have they got so many stores? Who buys their cr*p? To buy from them would be throwing money away. Luckily, quality boots made by reputable manufacturers like Scarpa can be found on Amazon.I wear canvas hiking boots for everyday use but find that for British hill walking they are no good and it has to be leather boots. Over the years I've had good service from Brasher and Berghaus leather hiking boots, but Scarpa Ranger is my favourite. They are comfortable and hard wearing, excellent grip, excellent ankle support and they last longer than any other boots I’ve owned. They are my favourite!

Great boots for moderate use
Really well made Gore-Tex lined boots with memory foam inner. I now find that these are considered entry level by Scarpa but for my 8 mile walks on rolling country plus the odd Lake District foray they are super. Compared to my fabric based boots they feel very heavy but I think I just need to get used to them. They are 39 which was rated a 6 on my previous boots but these are labelled 5.5 and they are slightly smaller. I wear a thick sports sock with these. Wore double socks with their predecessor. I expect the leather to give over time. I’ve invested in the branded waterproofing wax which really soaked into them from new.

Expensive not always the best
Paid £162 two Christmases ago,,have worn for two winter seasons,,boots were great,,super comfy and great for our winter walks.however,,after this shirt time a crease developed on the upper surface which quickly developed into a hole.sent back to buyer who said it was a fitting issue despite them fitting perfectly and could only return the damaged boot.for £162 l would have expected years from this product

Prompt Service
These boots were delivered promptly and felt comfortable when first tried on. I have done two short walks in them so far and they have proved comfortable in use and waterproof when walking in very wet grass. Ordered half a size up from normal shoe size and comfortable with thick socks. Time will tell on how they continue to perform but a good start.
