It works great! It's a beautiful blue and lasts months.

I followed all the instructions. I went to flush the toilet, no blue water, flushed again, no blue water. I opened the tank, no blue water. So, I squeezed her and some of the blue stuff came out. Closed the tank. Flushed the toilet, got some blue water. Mission accomplished. Waited the entire day. Husband said, "What happened to the blue water?" I went and checked, blue water gone. Opened tank, had to squeeze her again. The blue stuff came out. She is useless. I'm going back to the jar of blue stuff.

I really like this product. It does last quiet a while and does help keep the toilet clean. The one issue I found is that once it is partially used and the weight distribution is kind of different it can turn over in the tank and a lot of the product can come spilling out. I would buy again just need to adjust where it’s sits or find a way to keep it from being turned over.

absolutely loved the fact that the toilet was bright blue for a longer time. then the mermaid turned flapper girl and started getting caught in the flapper causing the toilet not to fill- and run. I tried to save her several times, but no weight to her- floats all over the tank no matter where you try and secure her. The blue hand for me assured me she wouldn't be entering these waters again. I really liked the longer blue but won't be getting her a second time for the price I paid and trouble she caused.

Do not believe the hype. This is a very bad product. The toxic blue coats the bowl. BUT: The design of the little mermaid is not good for the toilet. For me- The mermaid lodged inside the part of the toilet tank with the tube and rubber flap cover. How the little mermaid floated up and got inside is a mystery. This clog happened the second day I installed it. I am writing this as the plumber is currently trying to dislodge the little plastic mermaid out of the tank. This is going to be very expensive !!! :(

There is no pleasant scent that comes from the water due to the mermaid. In the first two weeks, the water is very blue and after that the water is very faint blue. Meaning she’s almost dead. Have I had to clean the toilet since using her? No surprisingly. But she’s definitely not worth the hype. There’s plenty of other cheaper objects out on the market that do far better in the long run than she does.
