I have a narrowed bowel due to endometriosis, and diverticular disease as a result. I have tried other (more expensive) slippery elm and it did help, but I still had to take laxatives every day. A few weeks ago though I ran out of my usual brand and they were unavailable, so I tried these. OMG! For the first time in my adult life, I'm producing large, well formed stools that just slide out with ease! I can't believe it! I usually have either 'rabbit pellets' or diarrhoea. My BM's are now NORMAL, and they've been normal ever since I started taking these. I am absolutely stunned by the difference, and so happy! You must try them - hopefully they'll help you as much as they've helped me!

I didn’t realise all the benefits of Slippery Elm until I did a little research , as I have IBS & a Hiatus Hernia , I have found particularly after Antibiotics just how helpful it was Acid Reflux Which Omeprazole on it’s own wasn’t controlling - it has a really calming effect which helps dampen now the IBS ..I found having smaller meals helps 👍

Ok I rarely ever write reviews, but I’ve just realised something about the quality of this product that I wanted to share. I have had a problem with acid reflux especially over the last four years because of a strong course of steroids I was given in hospital.I’ve used this company’s products for at least six or seven years. The huge thing for me when the company used to dispatch everything itself was that all boxes are letterbox friendly so no card from the post office to have to go and pick up the item later on.In this last few months I’ve been using cheaper brands but returned to this one last week again. I have noticed a SIGNIFICANT reduction in my acid reflux since I started taking this brand of Slippery Elm again.Well worth the money.

I have had indigestion/gastritis for over 20 years and last year was recommended Slippery Elm. I take it before bedtime and can honestly say, I sleep well and NEVER get woken up with pain/burning, etc. Sounds dramatic but it has actually changed my life.

Slippery elm is supposed to form a gel when mixed with water. This product stays as a powder (same as nature's way elm I just tried)Ive ordered from this brand before but there seems to be bad quality control for slippery elm, maybe older batches lose their ability to form gels, or just a wave of poor quality batch lately common to both supplement brands, or there's something else added to the capsule form that prevents this happening
