Excellent teapot for one person
I was served afternoon tea in one of these lovely little teapots in a café recently and was pleasantly surprised at the quality. Before I had finished my meal I had ordered one on my phone. The squat shape means a low centre of gravity, which makes it very stable. The spout also pours well with no drips.If like me you were shocked to discover that modern teabags contain plastic and are no longer compostable, you will also be pleased to know that this teapot has a filter that fits neatly inside the lid so that you can use loose tea without a lot of mess. Admittedly loose tea is a little more expensive than tea bags but worth the extra cost for the improved flavour. My old granny always said that the only reason tea makers invented teabags was to hide the poor quality tea (the sweepings of the floor she called them).I have a friend with the larger size, which is more appropriate for two or three people. A very worthwhile investment. Don't forget to order the matching trivet to protect your work surfaces.

lovely cuppa
Fantastic tea pot - whether using a tea bag or fresh leaves it is a delight to use. It comes with a small "saucer" to sit on as well.

lovely little pot, fantastic quality. and so pretty. bought it for my daughter last Christmas and she loves it. it is very heavy though so might be too much for some people to manage. makes a beautiful gift to loves who like real teas

Beautiful teapot
Bought this for my daughter after seeing similar in a big London store for £100. Was truly surprised at the quality of this item, it's so well made, easy to clean, keeps tea hot and looks beautiful. She loved it. Would definitely recommend this item, bought with the matching coaster.
