FOR ANYONE HAVING CHARGING ISSUES
I have had this light for almost a year, after the first charging I noticed the battery wouldn't hold a charge. Thought maybe I got a lemon, as I have several other Cloud products and have been more than satisfied by their performance. After messing around with it a bit, I noticed that you have to click the light "on" when plugged in, in order for the battery to actually charge. You will notice the battery indicator light will change from green to red. After I realized this I have not had any issues with the light holding a charge at all. Sample size of one, but hope this helps some having the same issue.

Total junk
this was a nice light for the (very) brief time it worked.this offering is cloud defenses first foreign made item and this item is going to justifiably cause harm their reputation.i have an owl, a rein and an mch from cloud, all excellent lights. this *was* a handy pocket light with nice output, however after i recharged it the second time the 10440 battery will no longer hold a charge as the light will turn on and then the battery goes dead immediately.i may try to order a few new 10440's as their only a few bucks, but the problem is i have yet to see a reliable brand name for this battery size, each one i have seen are all made in china here today gone tomorrow brands. as a result of my experience and a lack of reputable replacement batteries i would not trust this light for every day carry or pretty much anything other than sitting in a drawer with ten other lights.with the tendency for low quality batteries to spontaneously combust and cause fires however the best use for this flashlight is seeing how far away you can throw it into a trash dumpster.

Best mini flashlight available!!!
*****IMPORTANT RE-CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS BELOW******I'm very impressed with this flashlight! It is so small that you don't even notice it when pocket carrying. The brightness for this small of a light is surprising! The high mode is very bright (great throw and spill). The low mode is perfect if you don't want to disturb or be seen by others. My friend is a police officer and he uses the clip on the flashlight to attach it to a shoulder loop on his shirt so it can shine in front of him to see, read etc hands free. You can also reverse the clip and attach it to a hat brim for the ultimate hands free. Battery life is excellent and it is so easy and convenient to re-charge via USB.*****IMPORTANT RE-CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS******The only difficulty I found was initiating the re-charge. No instructions were included and the QR code didn't work for me. Thankfully, another Amazon reviewer explained that after connecting the USB charge cable, the battery charge indicator light instantly turns green. (This makes you think it's fully charged...but it's not.) You have to click the on/off button of the flashlight to initiate charging. After clicking the button, the battery charge indicator light will turn from green to red. Red means it's charging. When fully charged, (after a few hours) the light will turn to green again. I highly recommend this light for everyone. I plan to buy several so I have them in multiple places. Amazon's price is very good as well.

Almost good
This is a first impression review. The light is incredibly small and light. You won't even feel it in your pocket but the amount of light it outputs is well within useful range for navigating in a dark room or inspecting something in dim lighting. It's very similar to the Streamlight Microstream USB in size, shape, and output. The tailcap switch is even stiff like the Microstream's, although I would say that the Chicro's switch is slightly easier to actuate. Unlike the Streamlight, the Chicro offers charging through a USB C port which is probably its greatest strength against the Microstream USB.That's where the good ends. The finish is cheap and shows imperfections out of the box. I haven't carried it yet and can already see shiny spots that suggest wear and bare metal that you usually get from drops. The tint and color is somehow worse than my other Chinese manufactured lights. The runtime on high feels short when you consider that the output is similar to other offerings. Then there's the biggest downside of them all: it has memory but forces you into the next mode every time you press the button, no matter if the second press is 1 second or 1 hour apart from the first. Just in my limited testing I found myself excessively clicking and cycling through modes to the point of frustration. The Microstream USB's UI or even a single mode only would have been preferable.I would call this a buy if you can get it at $25 or cheaper.

Great very compact little light.
First impressions pulling it out of the box is wow its small, its shorter and thinner than a Streamlight Microstream and its a decent amount brighter. The light color is an absolute white with a very slight blue hue, comparing it to the microstream its a pretty big contrast the Streamlight has a warm natural light color. The difference is personal preference, I don't care either way but be aware of that.Charging, The light comes with a small USB-C cable maybe 20" long and it works just fine except that the light will only charge using certain charging blocks or a USB port on a computer, 2 out of 4 blocks I tried wouldn't work, Apple phone blocks work as well as a Samsung phone charger, other random ones don't work for me. The Microstream charges on every block I have tried. The pocket clip is reversible so you can clip it to a hat but its a pain to do unlike the microstream that has a double clip that can be used in either direction. If it seems like I am comparing this to the microstream a lot its because that is what I have used for years and its my gold standard. In all the Cloud Defensive Chiro is a good small bright light but its lacking some features that really make the streamlight stand out in comparison. And since the battery is going to be drained faster because of the extra 100 lumen output I don't really consider that an advantage.
