Just what I need for my crafts

Although these can be worn over spectacles, the fit won't provide adequate protection for certain applications due to gaps between most spectacles & these protective glasses. Protective goggles are most likely to be the required solution.The arms are extendable but to me they seem slightly on the flimsy side and I would have preferred if they had been more solid. However they may prove to have great longevity.The protection without wearing spectacles underneath is very good at protecting the peripheral vision at the sides and the front vision.As well as an included cleaning cloth, they come with a soft pouch and a firmer yet not hard storage glasses case. Additionally is a couple of sheets of paper with various information on.

The media could not be loaded.  First impression:👀 I got these glasses so that I could protect my eyes when UV light curing 3d resin printed models. The light frequency at 405nm is well inside the exclusion bandwidth of 200nm to 548nm. The glasses are reasonably large so that they can fit over eye glasses, but not so large as to allow excessive UV leakage around the edges. The UV filtering material extends to the sides and is quite generous across the face, giving good coverage. The glasses have adjustable arms to fit behind the ears.What I liked:✔️ The glasses are extendable over the ears and fit my head well. I sometimes have fit problems with safety glasses but these worked just fine for me. The UV glasses also fit over my normal glasses and when I wore them, they did not interfere with them at all.✔️ The case is really good and rigid and should protect the UV glasses if they are knocked against anything. They won’t be proof against heavy crushing as the case is semi-rigid. There is also a soft slip case and cleaning cloth provided too. The case has a plastic clip for securing them to a belt loop, which I probably will not use as I don’t want the glasses knocking against my leg as I walk.✔️ The protective UV filter material wraps around the eyes at the sides to protect against incidental exposure from the sides of the face. It is important to me that UV glasses give all-round protection.✔️ The glasses are impact resistant and so will protect against small object impact. I could not test this for obvious reasons but the plastic thickness seemed similar to the various safety glasses that I already have and these have saved me on numerous occasions when cutting metal and using the angle-grinder.✔️ The UV protection is really effective. I tried them against a broad-spectrum UV light tube and I could not tell that the light was on. I thought that it was faulty and had not struck correctly. I peeked around the glasses just to be sure. I could still see perfectly when they were on.Anything I didn’t like so much:❌ Nothing. They work extremely well.Conclusion:✅ The glasses are comfortable to wear and give peace of mind knowing that you are protected. They are good value for money at under £17 and although you can’t really put a price on safety, these glasses are essential if you are working with UV light. Effective UV goggles supplied in a protective case. Great for use at work, or for additional eye protection for anyone using UV apparatus at home (e.g. for gel nail manicures). Lightweight and simple design.

I’ve got this as I suffer from psoriasis. I have a UVB lamp at home. They are really good glasses, comfortable to wear and do the job perfectly. I liked using them as you still have full vision as you can see through them wear my little goggles that I have that came with the lamp restrict your vision totally. So for me if you’re looking for UVA or UVB protection for your eyes, these are excellent.

I use these as part of my PhD studies into polymerisation of viscous composite resins. I use both near-UV and blue light activated initiators. These goggles attenuate in this range to OD (Optical Density) 4. OD4 equates to 0.01% transmission (10^-OD x 100%), so only a maximum of 0.01% of the blue/UV light will reach your eyes. This is a very good level of 'blocking'. I was able to directly view my high power blue/UV light source to see exactly what was happening with my polymerisation reaction...I could also put the goggles over my iPad camera and take excellent video without saturating the camera. Very happy!!In terms of the goggles themselves, some reviewers claim that the arms are short. They aren't, because they actually extend 3 or 4 notches. They are fairly lightweight, and really do the job well. They come with a hard (but quite thin) outer case, polishing cloth, and soft drawstring carry pouch.I'm a skinflint, but for £17, these are actually very good value. I did receive a free pair through Vine, but if they decided to charge me for these right now, I'd consider it a priceless purchase for my purposes.One word of warning however is that they don't fit over my glasses. Strangely though, I get a much clearer view when wearing the goggles than without. I hesitate to say this, but it feels like I actually don't need my glasses when I have these goggles on! My partner tried these on, and was initially spooked by the complete blocking of blue light, but when she took them off, she wanted to put them back on as she said her vision was much more comfortable while wearing them. I felt the same!I would strongly recommend these goggles for practical purposes of blocking blue/near-UV industrial/scientific light sources. They should attenuate hydroponic lights as well.
