They do the job and work out @bout the same as a dentist age guard which lasts a longer but costs hundreds! Tricky to get used to moulding this, we’ve found moulding over our lower teeth rather than upper teeth easier and a better fit/ more comfortable. Does stop you grinding your teeth, last about 2months.

I had paid £800 for the dentist version and it was fine until I had a crown fitted. Then it was very uncomfortable and caused pressure which I believe eventually cracked that tooth. Therefore started looking for cheaper options and this one had good reviews (outside Amazon). It was easy to fit and feels very comfortable. I expect it will work for a longer period than the expensive version from dentist because you can adjust it should your teeth change shape.

I do not know why this is marketed as a professional fit dental guard. No professional would put their name or reputation to this. It might fit a child but it is too small for an average sized adult. The guide in which you heat it up is hard plastic and is too small to fit around my teeth. I had to re-heat it & put it on the bottom teeth to get anywhere near fitting. A cheap sport gum shield would be a better solution for sleeping in. Absolutely not an alternative to a professionally fitted bite guard.

The fitting process was OK, but I think they should say 'bite VERY firmly' to emphasise this, rather than 'bite firmly'. I didn't bit enough, didn't have a deep enough impression, so had to give it another go.The main issue I have is that when you mould it, it sits in a tray which doesn't allow it to have contact with your bottom teeth. The result is that it only moulds to your top jaw to fit them, not to your bottom teeth. When you come to wear it properly you have a thick, flat wedge preventing you from closing your mouth properly. Maybe I'll get used to it, and maybe this design is intentional. Feels strange though, and not sure I'll stick with it.

I found this product easy to use ( especially compared to another mouth guard i purchased). The mouth guard moulded to my teeth fairly quickly after warming it up in warm water ( as per instructions) and has not lost its shape or worn away after several months of using. I use a denture cleaning tablet to clean/sterilise the mouth guard twice a week and would buy the product again

Really good mouthguard, best one I've tried yet, definitely worthy of 5 stars!
