Been looking for one of these a long time. I use this when canning tomatoes for dipping the tomatoes to loosen the skins. This makes my workflow and activity much more efficient. Saw a drawing of this in my Blue Book and it was, literally years, before I could locate this implement. This is a useful and welcome addition to my inventory of almost single use, but effective, specialty kitchen implements.

I purchased this for canning my turnip greens later this month. I had, in fact, canned a few jars and wilting the greens was a nightmare....having to use tongs to remove them from the water. This should work nicely. I will be able to just pick the basket up out of the water, one batch at a time. It also seems fairly sturdy. I'm not sure it will work on something really heavy so keep that in mind. Very pleased.
