Perfect replacement for my Teva De La Vina zipper pull !!

I like this replacement zipper pull. It is smaller than most available pulls which better matches other pulls on the garment. Be aware that it is not really "black". More of an anodized charcoal gray metallic. But it is close enough to black to not be objectional. It was easy to install and looks like it will hold up well.

These replacement zipper pulls are easily installed if your zipper pull has broken off cleanly on the horizontal plane. The pull unhooks via a somewhat thin loop, making it easy to install. However, I don’t know if it will hold up to the rigors of a commercial washing machine—the one that tore off the pull on my jacket. I had to figure out a way to remove the remaining piece/loop of my old pull in order to install this one; even with a thin wire loop, it was too thick to coexist with the remaining broken pull piece.

The pull-tab on the bottom half of a two-way zipper on my favorite raincoat came off and this is a near perfect match. The hook that attaches to the zipper is much thinner than I expected, but it's holding well so far... I open the bottom half of the zipper up to my waist every time I wear the coat, and it has to be yanked down with force in order to engage the top half and get it open. After a dozen wears of yanking it up and down... the replacement pull-tab is holding fine.

We will use these replacement zipper pulls primarily to replace broken zipper pulls, or to replace zipper pulls because they are small and difficult for me to hold, because I have large hands. These pulls could be used for zippers on jackets, zippered pockets, shoes or boots, zippered purses or wallets, shopping bags, etc. This set has 10 pulls in 5 different metallic tones, which makes them very versatile. The only thing that we don't like about them is that my wife's grip isn't strong enough to open some of them for installation, so she has to use pliers. However, being a little difficult to open means that the pull is less likely to come open after it has been installed. They feel sturdy and should hold up well after installation. They look like they will work on most zippers. These pulls can save quite a bit of money, since if the pull is all that has failed on a zipper, it can quickly be replaced with very little time or expense. We think the pulls are a good value, and we are very happy with them.

These are pretty small and the spring metal is very stiff so I had a hard time disengaging the clip the first time when I tested it. I had an even harder time snapping it back into place. Once I got the hang of it a did it a couple of times it got a little easier. I'm still happy with this overall because I needed this to replace the zipper full for my elderly father's favorite jacket. I got in snapped into the zipper pull of his jacket and it works well and I think it needs to be stiff so that it doesn't unlatch and pull out.Overall worth it since it saves my dad's favorite jacket.
